We visited the Firebox with friends for an evening meal. The atmosphere is excellent and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. We all ordered steak and were not disappointed. I chose rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection along with Smokey ribs where the meat just fell off the bone. All washed down... More

What a fun and very cozy pub that keeps a fresh and mixed age clientele. The inside grill was great and the music and local dancing a bonus. I especially loved the real candles on every table. I met locals who couldn't have been nicer.

Went here for my birthday a few weeks ago. We were recommended it by friends. Have to say it didn't dissapoint. We both shared a starter which was lovely, and just enough. Then for the main I had a sirloin steak and my partner had fishcakes. I have to say my sirloin was cooked too perfection and it's great that... More

A fantastic establishment. The food was absolutely beautiful and presented to perfection. The staff were lovely, pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and a singer with acoustic guitar only added to the atmosphere after our meal.

We ate here for my brothers birthday and the food was excellent! I had the duck salad starter which was really tasty but still very light so didn't spoil my appetite. The steaks were just AMAZING! Very well cooked depending on the order and the quality of the food wasn't comprising even though there was a group of 10. One... More

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday with my boyfriend. Loved the fact that there's no daylight so even mid afternoo you got fill effect of open fire and twinkling fairylights. Were able to avail of early bird menu and starters were fab. I had the bruschetta and my partner the chowder. Both delicious. Main of game pie and fishcakes. Really good... More
