I attending this restaurant with some members of my family. We had booked the meal (which I highly recommend!) the place was packed. Great atmosphere. They menu is very meat based! And not a lot of choice. I wouldn't be a lover of meat. So it wasn't my cup of tea. But my husband and friends highly recommend the steak!!!!!!... More

After a lovely day walking the beaches of Donegal, we landed at the Railway Tavern. The burgers & rib-eye steak were delicious, just what was needed. Great service (Sunday evening) and atmosphere.

I finally got a hold of a waitor who I then never seen again for another 20 minutes. Then we were approached... More

Would highly recommend the fire box to anyone... More

Myself and my partner visited The Firebox Tavern two years ago and had been raving about it ever since. We were in Donegal recently on holidays and decided to bring people with us to impress them with the cosy atmosphere and good food that we had experienced on our last trip. Well. This jaunt was a completely different experience altogether.... More
