excellent steaks

had dinner here friday night with friends, 6 ordered fillet steaks, all cooked to perfection in front of us, chef and staff were friendly and efficient. I have never had steak that was as delicious or well cooked as these, will most certainly return.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday with my boyfriend. Loved the fact that there's no daylight so even mid afternoo you got fill effect of open fire and twinkling fairylights. Were able to avail of early bird menu and starters were fab. I had the bruschetta and my partner the chowder. Both delicious. Main of game pie and fishcakes. Really good... More

Visited the restaurant on Friday 1st May. It was absolutely brilliant! The steaks were cooked to perfection, the staff were so friendly and professional and the craic was mighty. Special thanks to Caolan and Don who went out of their way to make us feel special

Called into Firebox Grill for early evening meal and start to finish the experience was first class. The bar was welcoming and cosy and the staff were really warm and friendly. We had a variety of steaks which were all good quality meat cooked to perfection. The smoked taste on the steaks from the grill was superb. We must go... More

We booked this restaurant about a year ago because everyone said it was the best steak house for a hundred miles. Truth is, it was so average with poor cuts of steak and a medium rare coming up medium well done we would not of returned. We were recently encouraged to give it another go and I am glad we... More

Lovely place with a top location. Had to book well in advance but was well worth it. Met by a member of staff and went for a drink at the bar. Taken to our table which was quite near the cooking stove but was not off putting at all. The place is so quaint that you spend your time between... More

Myself and my partner decided to book a table recently at this restaurant. We rang up to book a table and enquire on the current rate allowed for Sterling as we would be travelling from Northern Ireland. We booked a table for 6pm and were informed there was an allowance of 25% on Sterling. We arrived at 6pm and found... More

We arrived here for lunch on Sunday. First time here. We didn't realize that most people book when they come here, however we where glad the waitress was able to fit us in as their were many in watching the football. I had a Medium Fillet Steak. I really enjoyed the smoked flavor of the grill, never tasted anything like... More
