Cosy atmosphere, open fire, Friendly owners and staff. Decent food. Music, Wednesday and Sunday (I think!) Worth dropping in!

Just had a great night at Pepper's in Feakle. We had complementary pick up and drop off which was good as it meant we could all sample the Guinness which went down very well. Nice meal at a reasonable price, everyone really friendly and excellent music and entertainment. Just what we wanted on a visit to Ireland. Now looking to... More

Visited Peppers while staying at East Clare Golf Village as they offer a free taxi ride there and back when the Irish music nights are on (Sunday and Wednesday). Had a lovely night, enjoyed the music and the food was pretty good too. It was super busy and the lady that served us our food and drinks was rushed off... More

We had first visited Peppers 3 years ago while on holiday in Ireland, during our visit it was our 25th wedding anniversary, the landlord presented us with a cake and had put up congratulation banners etc. We had a fantastic night with great food, drink and Irish music. We returned this year and the food and entertainment was brilliant. We... More

We stopped at Peppers Bar en-route to Limerick. I had found it initially on the internet and we headed there as there appeared to be no restaurants in Scarrif where we had initially planned on eating lunch. The bar was empty other than another two gents having their lunch obviously locals. The failte was poor or non existent and the... More

Went here with friends on a Sunday evening. It was packed out and we had to share our reserved table with another couple. As it happened we had a super night. The food I have to say was OK, the Guiness excellent but the "icing on the cake" was the live traditional Irish music performed by a trio, ably aided... More

This is a lovely location and a great little bar. We turned up on spec on a Saturday evening and enjoyed good wholesome Irish food (sausage and mash; boiled bacon with cabbage) with a keenly priced bottle of wine. In the UK the food would have been considered a bit ordinary but for Ireland (which is still about 20 year... More

We ate a wonderful meal served by gracious staff on a Monday evening and went back on Wednesday evening when they had live Irish music. Not only was the food excellent and the staff attentive, but the entertainment was outstanding. We were there for 3 1/2 hours that just flew by. The only disappointment was that it had to end.... This was one of our favorite unexpected experiences in Ireland. The owner picked up people from their hotels and took them to the restaurant (and dropped us back off that evening). The service is great and they are all so friendly and accommodating. Local musicians come from all over and "jam." We has such a great experience we went back... More
