As a family, we've eaten in this little gem a number of times, and will always return. The stifado is the best on the island in my opinion, and I regularly have to have 2 bowls! The staff are delightful; every single one of them, and we are always made to feel welcome. Plenty has been said about the location... More

Right on the water front and a fantastic place top sit and enjoy the sun set! We ordered two pizzas and they were delicious, the staff were very friendly and gave great service. It was reasonably priced and we would recommend this place to every one!

We ate here twice on our stay in Plakias. The first time was really late as we had only just arrived and they were kind enough to look after us, even though it looked like they were about ready to finish up and have their own dinner, they never hurried us but we respected the hour and had two quick... We picked this restaurant mostly because we don't like the annoying attitude of many restaurants in the area that try to 'fish' customers who walk by. We were rewarded by the very tasty food and friendly service. The restaurant serves the best melitzanosalata (aubergine puree) we have ever eaten. I got the impression they use fresh and high quality ingredients.... More

We have visited Plakias quite a few times, but had never before tried this restaurant (although if it used to be situated below the Gio-ma apartments over the road then then we did visit it once about twenty years ago - and had a memorable (in a good way) meal with liberal raki to finish!). Anyway, we shared a cheese... More

We had a lovely view to the sea at this taverna in the little village Plakias that we visited and stayed in for the first time 23 years ago. It was fun being back. Since we love the greek meze's we have for lunch: greek salat, cheese saganaki, Tzaziki and Crete pie's. The taste was very good and the staff... More

This restaurant is the absolute highlight of Plakias. A little pricy for Greece but it's worth it. A dinner for two (with appetizers) comes at 50 euro here. I had a mixed plate of fish for 13.50 eur and received a huge portion: 1 red snapper, 2 other smaller pieces of fish (all complete pieces of fish, no filets!), 1... More

This little gem hidden behind a block of houses besides the little Plakias pier is a cosy, friendly family taverna. The food was always fresh and great. We went there three times. Once, when the octopus was too hard to chew, they brought another portion immediately. The only danger is that the taverna is getting too popular, a little full,... More

Nice Greek restaurant in front of the sea. The food is good but nothing too special. Friendly service. The prices are around 12-15 euro. Nothing to complain.
