A windy night drove us indoors, placing us in a narrow area of the restaurant, which was Not a good table. We dined on a vegetable soup (good), potatoes with grated cheese, chicken souflaki, and lamb cutlets, which were the worst of our holiday, with little or no meat on them. A walnut cake dessert, a ½ litre of house... More

Once again I have visited this great taverna. As always the food is great, the service excellent and nothing surpasses sitting by the water watching the waves break on the rocks while the sun sets. Tip - get the hortopittakia or "kaltsounia with wild greens"; these are a really good appetiser to share. They specialise in excellent seafood. Well priced.

We came back after a few years, and the restaurant still has great food and atmosphere! Nice and quiet, and the view is magnificent!

Good traditional food plus some nice spicy dishes. Several specials also available each day. Good house wine. Great view out to sea but on a very windy corner so take a sweater.

Back after two years, and the food in this taverna (read restaurant) is still excellent. If you wnat genuine Greek food (nor tourist food) then this place is for you. The ambiance and the service are second to none. With level access and a devine view, without intruding music it is a superb dining experience. My wife and I have... More

Great place for food (but don't stay here if you have other options). Great Mezes and Raki too. Very large portion sizes though - you may need to ask for a smaller portion. The beetroot salad is splendid.

We went twice on this trip and it was an excellent experience.Well positioned for an ocean view with a warm welcome. The service is relaxed and friendly..we started both meals with a shared salad of generous proportions - a beetroot salad then a super seafood salad. We had good grills and well cooked lamb...loved the house red and a smooth raki afterwards.This... We visited Gioma again after really enjoying our visits in October. It is May, is is raining (shock horror!), but we were looked after so well by the team at Gioma. Being inside the restaurant, chatting with the staff, seeing their relationship with the other customers was made us appreciate the dedication of the owner and staff to providing the... More

We went for a dinner there three times during our 10 days stay in Pliakias. We have never been disappointed with the food and very friendly service. Each time we felt welcomed and looked after. Also, the restaurant offers, in our view, a good value for money; even the house wine is not bad. On top of all of that,... More
