OK....perhaps I am biased.....I now count Costas and the Gorgona team as friends but that's not difficult. The location and atmosphere here are amazing..as is the welcome at all times of the day. The food is simple but delicious and always well presented...even if the timing becomes a little quirky when they're busy....which they always are. Highly recommended !

Very welcoming staff at this place where the kitchen is on one side of the road and the tables the other-providing excellent views of the harbour, sea etc. Have "Briam" - a sort of veggy stew, useful as an extra choice.

What can I say about this taverna other than fantastic ... The service was brilliant as was the food. We were made to feel almost like family as soon as we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble here. This is one of the places we miss the most now that we are home. The staff were brilliant to us....always met... More

Great service at this family run restaurant. I had the fresh fish every night and husband had the lamb chops. Everything was fabulous. Greek specialities and fresh lobster also available.

The taverna is located near the sea, there is a nice view. I ordered calamaria - in the plate were some and under them were fried potatoes!!!!????? - in the menu is pointed "calamaria". They don't say that there are also potatoes... My husband ordered "shells with a spicy sauce" from the catalog, and they served 4 shells with tomato... More

Our last meal at the gorgona was the day we returned home 5/8/14, we ate there every evening and were never disapointed, everything was delicious and tasty. And to be right beside the sea was very pleasant ,sitting outside and eating when it was a lot cooler in the evening. Just before i go a mention of the staff who... More

After a morning on the beach, followed by a walk, we stopped here for lunch. The welcome was friendly and the service excellent. The food was freshly prepared, full of flavour and tasty, what more could you ask for! We weren't staying locally but if we had been we would definitely have visited this taverna again. This taverna has been... More
