We stumbled upon this place whilst on a winter walk in winter, though after returning for a second time I realised that it is both accessible by car and as part of a cross country skiing route. When I opened the door it was entering from the freezing outside cold to a world of tyrolean delight and comfort. Large wooden... More

Triendlsäge is a charming traditional Austrian restaurant, located in a small forest at a lovely creek. It’s a 30 minutes’ walk from the town center of Seefeld. You can also reach it by car and directly park at the restaurant. The cuisine is traditional Austrian. They serve ,Schnitzel, bread dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn (try it if you don’t know it), etc. The... More

Our family had two dishes, each for two persons, both of which had to be ordered at least one day ahead, one being Kalbshaxe (roasted veal's leg) and the other one Bauernbratl (roasted pork). The staff were quite busy that night, and because of that maybe a bit unattentive, not offering us drinks when placing us at a waiting table.... More

This is a lovely restaurant in a great location but the key draw is the authentic Tyrolean specialities that they offer. The list to too long to go through but please go and order any of their specialities - you won't be disappointed.

One of the beauties of walking some of the trails around Seefeld is that you come across interesting places to have a bite to eat or a drink and this is one of them. Set in woodland it is pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy one of the many good Tirolean dishes on offer. You are attended to... More

It is our 3rd trip to Seefeld yet first time to this restaurant, on our last day! I will certainly go back on next trip and likely eat there more than once. The whole Seefeld area make Austrian food however Triendsage makes authentic Austrian food with sophistication. It has a wide selection of food, lovely atmosphere, great service and an... More

If you're looking to taste something typically Austrian in a peaceful location, with even a swing outside to keep the children amused, go here and have a great experience for all the family.

Great food great service. Good local menu may i recommend the goulash, zwiebel rostbraten or grillteller for a taste of tirol with maybe the kaiserschmarren as a snack. The latter is the best in Seefeld.

After a well deserved break during our hiking in the Seefeld area we found this restaurant to have a break. As we were in Austria we ordered the kaiserschmarren and it appeared to be the best ones we had ever had. All the other food looked delicious as well. I would definitely come back and have dinner here as wel

In an area like Seefeld it's tough to judge restaurants - most are at least good or above. That said, Triendlsage stood out from the rest by just enough to be memorable. While it offers the usual traditional Tyrol food selection, the execution is excellent with just the right flavor and enough calories to keep you active (but not too... More
