If you're looking to taste something typically Austrian in a peaceful location, with even a swing outside to keep the children amused, go here and have a great experience for all the family.

Great food great service. Good local menu may i recommend the goulash, zwiebel rostbraten or grillteller for a taste of tirol with maybe the kaiserschmarren as a snack. The latter is the best in Seefeld.

After a well deserved break during our hiking in the Seefeld area we found this restaurant to have a break. As we were in Austria we ordered the kaiserschmarren and it appeared to be the best ones we had ever had. All the other food looked delicious as well. I would definitely come back and have dinner here as wel

In an area like Seefeld it's tough to judge restaurants - most are at least good or above. That said, Triendlsage stood out from the rest by just enough to be memorable. While it offers the usual traditional Tyrol food selection, the execution is excellent with just the right flavor and enough calories to keep you active (but not too... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the apartment we stayed at, and we were so impressed with the food and service, that we visited twice in our 7 night stay in the area. After walking in the woods on snow and ice to get there, it was well worth the effort. The menu was explained to us... More

Very beautiful setting, easily accessible by feet in 20 minutes from the town. The menu is one of the best tyrolean we've ever tried. The only thing we don't appreciate much is that - as in many restaurants in the area - dogs are allowed inside the restaurant.

I agree with the other reviews. The setting is romantic and the service impeccable. Since this was our last day in Austria, we requested something special and it was not a problem. We left totally satisfied. Finding the place in the woods is part of the charm.

Short walk out of the village but well worth it, food & service very good. Good menu choice and service plus has the bonus of outside seating which even in the winter if the sun is out can be lovely as the restaurant is situated in the woods.

This restaurant is a bit outside Seefeld, but well worth the journey. It lies in a tranquil clearing in the forest and in winter it is a great place to come for a hot drink or a meal. These meals are typical Tyrolian and the plates are well stacked, you will not leave hungry. In winter we always go there... More
