A group of us enjoyed a very nice lunch here for a reasonable price. The service was good and friendly too. Atmosphere is very comfortable and laid back. Good option for Hampi dinning.

I found this place to be the most overrated place. AbsolutEly bad food and overly priced. It has no experience to offer. We ordered veg momos which came with bad tasting veggies inside and to top it all the accompaniment was sambar! !!!!!! An amateur would have made a better tasting egg fried rice which was least to say sad....spaghetti... More

Its a nice place to visit. The food is delicious and light on the wallet as well. The ambiance is average. Its a bit difficult to locate as its tugged in the narrow streets of the main bazaar. A place worth a visit.

Enjoyed the commonly recommended banana fritters, generous portion but nothing out of the ordinary. Seems popular with the locals and we would certainly go back and try the lunch menu.

I traveled with my family including parents. The restaurant is small and was packed with foreign tourists. Initially I was a bit skeptical if it will cater to my need (keeping in view my parents were with me). We were greeted well and given the Indian menu (there was a separate western menu). There were many items in menu but... More

All the tourist focused restaurants in Hampi follow the same formula - a mishmash of cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Italian, Tibetan, and Israeli food served either at plastic tables or floor cushions. Mango Tree has reasonably priced thalis at lunch, but avoid it in the evening when it is flood lit with garish neon pink lighting.

The main restaurant and shopping area of Hampi was moved 2 years ago, so some restaurants have relocated, or are out of business. The Mango Tree Restaurant is a great restaurant, having relocated, but the food is still good. We had the special thali and pineapple juice. It was delicious. We ate there two days in a row, because it... More

We had 3 full days in Hampi and were staying Hospet. On the first day, we started after a breakfast from Hospet and then start to explore the ruins in Hampi. By mid afternoon we were tired and famished, and we went to Mango Tree. The Meal consisted of rice and Chapati, rasam, dal, two vegetable dishes (one dry and... More
