Good drinks!

We went there in off season, but it was still packed, easily the most crowded café in Hampi, and surprisingly, even the local police had lunch there!! The Lassi and the hot chocolate we had were superb, the service was friendly, efficient and the whole place seems to work like a well-oiled engine... read more

The food at Mango Tree is an absolute delight. Common sense dictates that one should avoid the coconut lassi. The thali is great, try the vegetable dopaiza and mango juice. It was definitely a great combo.

A lot of people have already reviewed the top rated restaurant in Hampi. I am simply noting down one item which a must try - Banana & Coconut Parota - It is a deep fried bread made of refined flour with sumptuous filling of ripe banana pieces and grated coconut. It has a bland taste except for the slight sweetness... More

situated next to Virupaksha Temple in the adjacent lane. The locality is not good. From outside this place looks below average but the moment I stepped in I was surprised to see its patrons. The meal was OK and nothing to write home about. This place addresses stomachs needs in unexpected settings.

Reminds me of Vang Vieng in Laos if anyone reading this has been tubing. Anyway, great staff, lovely food, good place to meet fellow travellers with a nice hippy vibe. Cushions on the floor surrounding low tables etc. I ate there once a day, sometimes more while in Hampi. Nice place to order a pancake and read a book under... More

Tucked away in a corner from Virupaksha temple, lies this humble restaurent. Loved everything that we ordered-the thali, chapathi, mushroom do pyaza, mango tree spl fried rice, and spaghetti with eggplant and cheese. The prices were a little expensive by Hampi's standards, but this place is a welcome respite for the hungry and tired traveller. :)

We recently visited Hampi along with out family. We had heard good reviews about this place, so thought of visiting, and as expected the place was crowded. They have few tables, and beyond that they keep mattresses with small elevated platform in the middle to keep the food, and you have to sit on the mattresses kept on the ground... More

visited this place for lunch along with my 1 yr kid and wife. Decent place in Hampi as everyone advised to go here. Had a thali which was good value for money and good taste too. I guess no other good restaurants are ther in Hampi except this too.

You might find this place food bit expensive but its completely worthy... The sitting, lightening and music arrangement is unique and relaxing... Staff is friendly and with clear communication on delivery of food time... Till now whatever I have tried here was simply awesome...

This was the place I was hanging out at night, because wifi. They serve the best meal in hampi, though a bit pricey when compared to the usual city prices. I had the Indian Breakfast, Lassi, The Mango Tree meal.
