Probably the restaurant relocated recently, as I didn't find a river view or a mango tree anywhere as shown in many photos shared by reviewers, but still the restaurant I went to, served awesome food at a reasonable price, and also encouraged the visitors to try out Indian delicacies, most of them served over banana leaf. The ambience was good... More

Oh my god! What a view! Lunch we had at mango tree was undoubtedly one of the best lunch we had in such a small restaurant. Mango tree is situated on the bank of I think river tungabhadra ( not very sure about the name). And they actually serve you under mango trees. They have mats and benches both, food... More

Mango Tree is a small family run restaurant which serves Indian Cuisine but in their own style. There are more flavors, more spices which make even the North Indian dishes very different and tasty. Very reasonable prices. A must visit!

This restaurant used to be located by the river with a beautiful atmosphere but now it's within the main bazaar of the village and people are still clinging to the old location when they tell you it's the best place in town. Prices are too high all around in Hampi and it's no different here. The food is bland and... More

Mango Tree is one of its kind restaurant. It is located near Virupaksha Temple in Hampi along the riverside. The ambiance and the seating arrangement with low lying tables is quite different here. Their menu has quite a variety. Ours was a diverse food order and all that we ordered was good. The service too was quick and efficient. If... More

Average Indian food. Not worth the money. They bank in on the non-availability of more options for the traveller.

We came here in off season for lunch. The food was good and the service was timely. But at the end of the meal the waiter sat down with us and gave us the low down on the cost of everything in the town at that time of year. Hotel price, scooter rental, tuk tuk prices etc which was greatly... More

we had the thali which was tasty and plentiful. location is convenient to the temple and the nearby public bathrooms are clean and functional. (the restaurant does not have a toilet). this restaurant was earlier near a river which was a much prettier venue. we order the crepes which were ok. the rice pudding is more of a porridge suitable...
