Lovely thali here, same they had to move as now location is right in the main bazaar so no river views. It is very popular and quite busy but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here

The food and service was super but the place got a bit stuffy once it got full. The fans were not doing the job. The place has tasty fare that is reasonably priced.

We had an excellent lunch here with our driver. There was a good selection of Indian and non- Indian food. We all found food that we liked. No rest rooms but the public one was close and very clean! The restaurant is close to the market and many of the temples.

We visited the Mango Tree during a trip to Hampi and it was a lovely surprise. This little restaurant was full. The seating was either at tables or if you were young enoigh to get up again, on cushion seats on the floor. The colours of the decor afe pinks, orange with odd lamps in green, orange etc. the walls... More

We ordered a few thalis and lassi and honestly the food was plain average. None of us found anything special in the food. The ambience was quite nice though as we sat down on a a mattress on the floor. Quite a unique way to eat food and we spent a good 3 hours at the place as it was... More

I think this restaurant is mentioned in every travel guide. And there is a good reason for that named Thali. In my opinion it was the best I ever had, and I had thalis nearly everyday when I was in Southindia. Definitely go there!

The food here is quite tasty. Specially, the thali, I am big fan now. Order one thali for Rs.110 and you're good, it's very very filling.

We had the regular thali, which was simple, delicious and good value for money. The entire stretch is crowded with many small restaurants, but this came highly recommended by other travellers and the staff of the hotel we stayed at.

I visited the Mango Tree Restaurant for both lunch and dinner several times on a recent visit to Hampi. It has the reputation of being one of the best restauarants in Hampi and, from my experience, this is richly desrved. The location of the restuarant has, I understand, moved from a next to the river location, to it's present position... More
