I have reviewed the coffee shop before, but wanted to write about the delicious Mediterranean sandwiches I so love. I also had the most amazing omelet there on my last day in McLeod Ganj. The atmosphere is great with good artwork on the walls and the service was perfect from Shyam Singh my waiter most days. I went every day... More

My wife and I had lunch at Moonpeak Thali. I missed seeing it but she spotted it. It's a small cafè and has about 5 tables. The menu is pretty neat. We ordered a ginger, lemon honey tea, a soup, a chicken Thali and an Niçoise omelette. The order came in within 15 minutes. My take on this place is... More

Ordered Thali (150rs). Arrived in 15 minutes. I expected a lot more after reading the reviews here but i was very disappointing. It's an average indian thali, with a 1/4 the amount of rice you get get in other places. Thali was good, the ingridients were fresh, but the quantity was an way too little. I usually don't stay hungry... More

We went for dinner to Moonpeak and really liked the Himachali Thali. The dal bori in spinach gravy was awesome. Completely worth the price. They close a little early though. If there arent enough customers, they go home by 8.30pm. So if you are keen, keep them informed that you are planning to come for dinner. The ambiance is nice... More

Just up the hill from Dali Lama temple....nice views and great photography inside. Amazing muesli fruit curd and friendly staff. Didn't try the thali restuarant next door but the cafe is a great place to relax and unwind.

We had a really lovely meal here. We had the chicken tikka with garlic naan and the signature Himalayan thali. Both dishes were delicious and the ingredients were of a really good quality. Service is a little slow but the food is worth the wait.

A bit pricier than most in India but entirely worth it. The Himachal thali was delicious and unique! Very kind staff and a lovely atmosphere to boot. Highly recommended

This is a hole in the wall kinda place. The waiter was acting like a zombie. No greetings, no welcome courtesy nothing! The food was ok. Nothing great though.

Moonpeak cafe and thali are basically the same place yet with different cuisines. We unfortunately went to thali...The food was ok and different, but would suite foreigners more rather than Indians. Though the shake and coffee that we had ordered (imported from the cafe) were pretty good but the Indian food served here wasn't something that would impress the locals.
