Awesome pies!

Snow lion serves great thupka and momos. Their apple pie and lemon curd pie are just too good. Great value for money. Wish they'd do something about the flies and air conditioning!

Snow lion is a comfortable cafe place and I went for breakfast several times. Their set breakfasts are cheap and very good for the price. Wifi is available as well. As with many other places in McLeod Ganj it can fill up so expect to share your table with strangers

Best value in Dharamsala. Family run restaurant, authentic Tibetan food and home ambiance. One dish is enough for a big lunch or dinner and you'll get surprised with the price

Since Snow Lion is used all over town, this sounds like the one across from the temple in the main market area. Then we are talking about the right one. This Snow Lion Restaurant and Guest House has always had the very best vegetarian Tibetan food and at amazing prices. It just went through a great remodel that also makes... More

This place has started offering only vegetarian food now. But that too is very good , specially spring rolls, cheese chilly & noodles. Only problem comes when you are an INDIAN family dining in this restaurant & your voice pitch is a bit and sometimes very much higher than the westerners you get frequent stares from the owner who happens... Snow Lion gets a little over usage in the area ... so down from the bus bus stand on Jogiwara and across from the pink (or red) temple and prayerwheels .... Owned by Tenzing Dolma... A lot of menu items in McLeod Ganj are similar... Snow Lion has the best of the bunch when it comes to the popular items.... More

Considering the location, my daughter and I had a lovely lunch. As I have indicated, we both thought pretty highly of the place. You have to remember though that it is not New York or Chicago. The neal for both of us was approximately $10. USD.
