As they say never judge a book by its cover. I hail from Palampur and have been to Mcleodganj infinite times, however I never noticed this restaurant because it has a very tiny front entrance and can be easily missed if you don’t pay attention. It was only after reading some amazing reviews on TripAdvisor that I gave it a... More

Having read a lot of recommendations all over, decided to eat my first lunch in McLeod at Tibet Kitchen. Was amazed at both the quality & quantity of food. Since mine was a week long visit, kept going back, ate about 5 meals here. Tried everything from thukpa, momos. noodles to rice. The prices are great & there is absolutely... More

It is a must visit. Few tips 1. Listen to the waiter, they know their stuff. 2. Take advise from the waiter before ordering anything. 3. Must try all the dishes named as "kitchen special" 4. Do not ask the chef to make it extra spicy, even if you can handle the spices, still do not ask him to make... More

If you are in Mcleod Ganj dont miss the opportunity to treat yourself in this restraurant. The Tibetian bread TINGMO is out of the world. You can have it with MUTTON POKCHOY or PORK PAA . Try the deep fried flat mutton dumpling named SHA BHAKLAB. A cup of Ginger - Honey - Lemon is absolutely refreshing.

Hi, I was there twice in my three day visit. We had soups, noodles, Bhutani dish (Shamu Daste) and some rice. Everything was very delicious, although we were looking bit spicy and Bhutani dish wasn't. So please order as you like it. They have multi-storey section, ground floor and above floors, stairs are just beside the entrance of restaurant. Staff... More

During a recent visit to McLeod Ganj, we wanted to try out Tibetan food and opted for a Trip Advisor recommendation, 'Tibet Kitchen.' We were looking forward to 'Momos' and soup, but were a little disappointed to know that Wednesday was an 'all vegetarian' day and that our choices might, therefore, be limited. Our server helped us choose Tsampa Soup,... More

Great menu. Awesome food. We only had starters and soups and they were great. I would recommend sitting upstairs. Great location also.

Great food, great atmosphere and good service. I wasn't in McLeod Ganj for many days but this was may favourite eating house - a top place. Personally I preferred the ground floor and loved the Bhutanese datse.
