I'm sure that Moon Peak Cafe is good all day long, however for us it provided the perfect breakfast spot for several mornings. There is a choice from the full eggs and toast disaster through to the very healthy [and very yummy] mix of muesli, yoghurt, honey and fresh fruits. Their coffee, as it has been for a long time,... The highly recommended Himachali Thali scored a 10/10....freshly prepared....appropriate quantity....interesting combination of khadi, rice, veg balls in spinach gravy, cauliflower, chole, papad, chapatti, salad and kheer...they used fresh spices and the flavors were awesome..

It was nearly midnight and we felt peckish, went there after reading great reviews on TA and weren't disappointed. Nicely laid out, welcoming staff, great fare - we had trout among other things which was very nice - and they even serve alcohol until late which most places don't. Their guest list was also impressive, Pierce Brosnan being one of... More

We have visited Mcleod number of times and a visit to this place is a must. A little setback....as the ST. shops have blocked the beautiful valley view, which was an added adv of their location :(, but their coffers and cakes are yet something which we can't miss :)

I ate at this quaint quiet cafe six times in the past ten days because I was working on Temple Road. The Nicoise omelet is the best breakfast I have had in India. Great flavor. The Indian Thali is excellent---freshly made per order, not greasy, with very subtle yet spicy flavors. I agree you pay a little more per meal... More

Came heavily recommended on several sites and went here for 2 days in the evening...no not for the food, not for the service, not for anything else but for the music. the place is just average, the food and coffee just above average, the warmth of the people running this place well real down far beneath average. The contempt the... More

It is certainly not the best place to eat in M Ganj. There are numerous other small cafes...which serve very tasty tibetal food. We went there for lunch...we ordered a Himachali Thali, apricot chicken and rajasthani mutton...none of the food we ordered tasted good ( I mean it was very average, in fact few of the dishes were so low...
