The service was excellent, and the ambience appropriate. We had a late lunch there, and must say the food was excellent. We ended up having dessert as well, which was great (Ice cream). The seafood here is a must for anyone visiting, and they do have a wine selection, which I'm sure will satisfy anyone. We will definitely return one... More

Presumably the tour companies are on commission for bringing people here as it was full of bus tours. Food was ok but service was terrible, like they knew you were never coming back so point making an effort! Avoid unless you are really stuck.

On our way to see the penguins at Boulder Rocks we stopped for lunch at Seaforth's. We sat outdoors overlooking the mountains and beautiful sandy beach and blue waters. The restaurant was packed but the servers were on their toes and we didn't wait long before water glasses were filled and our orders taken. Food - we had 3 African... More

Stay away from this place. The only reason they are still in business is because many tourists come to the Boulders Beach and either don't do their research (like us) or are a part of a large tour and have to eat there (we saw buses unloading groups). The food is horrible, worse than in fast-food places. If you have... More

We had a great table near the window on the sea. The menu is quite detailed and the prices are nice too. We have tried pizzas and we had value for money. Recommended Restaurant!

While in Boulders viewing the African Penguin colony on the beach near Simon Town, South Africa, our tour scheduled a lunch at Seaforth Restaurarnt. The lunch was excellently delicious with a sea bass entree along with some delectable vegetable dish and dessert. It made the trip to see the penguins that much more satisfying because of the quality of the... More

We stopped here en route from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope. Of course we came to see the penguins. It was obvious that the restaurant caters to a lot of bus tours, as there were lots of large tables filled with tourists. There were only two of us and our guide. Our guide is obviously well known... Nice setting. Sea View. Close proximity to penguins and you can watch them swim while enjoying your meal. Their eat as much as you can prawn or calamari evenings is a must for seafood lovers. You can sit inside or outside on the deck(weather permitting) and overlook the Ocean. On a clear day you can see Gordon's Bay side. Good... More

Whilst obviously a touristy spot were not made to feel like tourists. The seafood curry pot was lovely and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Great price for obvious tourist destination - 1/2 the price of the dinner the night before at V&A in Cape Town. Nice rasonable priced bottle of white. Great to go to if in the... More

Location fantastic, food fine but not worth raving about and service quite good but.. I was delivered along with 8 other tourists who I had only met 2 hours before by our guide to the waiting staff who escorted us to a group table. We were not given the choice of sitting in small groups. We ordered, ate and then... More
