Excellent lunch, good value, served with a smile and humour. Lovely view and close to the Penguin beach. Recommended

Food was good and the environment was friendly. The view was fantastic to look at as the sea is beautiful. Great for drinks with friends.

We stayed at Boulders Lodge to be close to the penguins, but found the attitude towards the the areas main attraction to be anything but helpful. There was no warmth, enthusiasm or personality to any of the staff we met or any part of the lodge we visited. The rooms were bare to say the least and the security ranged... More

I spent an enjoyable couple of hours at Boulders Beach Restaurant on Sunday 30th November with a very good friend and three cousins. The restaurant is situated a stones throw away from the famous Boulders Beach penguins and serves an excellent selection of seafood, salads and meat dishes. I had the battered Hake and chips with a side order of... More

Of course, straight at the beach this is not going to be the cheapest, but reasonable in my opinion. Food was good. Seafood very fresh, which we cannot say of all of the coastal restaurants we ate at! The waiter was super friendly and earned his fat tip! Cant believe how this guy can keep his smile, the way the... We visited this restaurant last Wednesday 8th OCTOBER 2014. We had walked from Searforth and were looking forward to a nice snack. We were told we could sit anywhere and sat on the deck, and were brought the menus. Our first impression was " what a lovely place, we must bring our beach group here for breakfast " We thought... I was a bit wary about going here as I get nervous eating at places at tourist spots. but the staff were decent and brought out the food for the boys quickly. 2xchicken and chips for the boys plus 2 x decent burgers for us with fruit juice and beers for ZAR 365 (inc. tip). worth visiting.

We had hamburger and vegetarian sandwich... Even if the restaurant was almost empty we had to wait to much.

We have stayed at Boulders' Beach Lodge before about 5 years ago and remembered it as charming with the lovely beach and penguins very close......so close they are free to roam the lodge grounds. We also remembered it as needing a little renovation. We had no hesitation in staying there again however as it had been welcoming and comfortable with... More

There were a few thing that bothered me on my visit for lunch on 19/09/2014. Firstly, there was obviously no management judging by the music obviously selected by the wait staff. Also there was no management that came to greet us. Secondly, there were a few things that we asked for that were out of stock, including orange juice, one... More
