Nailed it.

This place is a Springdale staple. Speaking with some of the elder locals that have been going there for years, they still say their chicken is just as delicious as they remember. They have great side selection-- I could just eat a veggie platter and be completely content. Great comfort food... The... read more

We have been eating at Neal’s for years. They serve great, homemade food in a real hometown café environment. The fried chicken is actually cooked in an iron skillet. You can’t get better comfort food anywhere in northwest Arkansas. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. In the winter, they supplement the heat with two fireplaces. It is an experience.... Visited this café after years away from the area-recalled it as decent diner food. Very disappointed in almost everything our group ordered. Fried japalenos were decent as were the fried onion rings. The iced tea was very good. On the negative, the fried okra could have been good if it hadn't been swimming in a pool of grease, the chicken... More

It's been quite some time since our last visit and after a bad experience trying to try a new to us place downtown, we said "Let's just go to Neal's, at least they are consistently good." WRONG! Worst service ever and the food was nothing like it had been in the past. After ordering we noticed 3 tables that came... More

If you loved your momma's home made pie, then come home! This IS the place! Especially my favorite: Coconut Cream!!! The rest of the food is very good. Order your holiday pies early!

Neal's is very much a long standing tradition in Springdale. A trip here is like stepping back in time to a diner 40 years ago. Very traditional menu with all the fried favorites. Good pie selection to finish off your meal.

Always great food and service. Not gourmet, just good. So all you food and latte snobs need not walk in. This is southern cooking and delicious. If you want foo foo, it won't be on the table, but good rolls, pepper sauce and real butter will be and so will hospitality. I saw one Yankee jerk get loud about how... More

I was in town working and several people had recommended Neal's. They had built it up so much and it was ranked high on Trip Advisor so we decided to give it a try. First I will say I am a bit of a chicken fried steak snob. After all of the hype I was disappointed. I asked if the... More

This like going back 50 yrs. ago to a diner except that now it is no smoking. This place has been around longer than that. It is a informal restaurant along the old business strip which maintains a large and loyal clientele. Probably its signature item is pie, but the menu includes most of the classics associated with a diner.... More

The smothered steak was good and filling!! Large portions and very good service!! A don't miss!!
