Delicious!

I lived in Arkansas for 29 years and never went. Came home to visit and ate! Delicious hamburger steak, onion rings, fried green tomatoes! Too bad they didn't have fried pies or I would have gotten one! Looks like the building may fall in but that place was PACKED by 12 on Friday!!!! Yum!!

After eating at Cotham's Mercantile once every year for 10+ years, this year was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I always have a hubcap. This year I ordered it. It came out with what appeared to be smaller than usual meat patty (still bigger than a regular burger), and it was served on a regular size burger bun. I ask what was... More

If you like a GIGANTIC Burger - this place is for you. Authentic old time general store turned into a restaurant years ago, but they left the merchandise... Some of the best fried catfish Ive ever eaten was here. Great staff too - always smiling! Try one of the fried pies for dessert, you won't be disappointed!

Don't let the looks of this building fool you. Really old store building. Once used as military commissary and housed people waiting for judge to come to town. But the food is EXCELLENT! The hubcap burger is huge. My husband and I shared one and it was still hard to finish. Onion rings really good too. Not a place to... More

My husband, daughter, and I ate at Cotham's after taking things to my daughter's classroom in England. (She will be teaching 2nd grade math!) I had heard great things about this, and all were true. My husband and I had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and pinto beans; our daughter had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and... More

This was our first time to eat here, it was upon a recommendation of a friend. We were in Little Rock so we thought we would try it. We were told it's look is deceiving. It was really neat to eat in such an old place with lots of history. The hub cap burger certainly didn't disappoint, well seasoned and... More

A drive off the beaten path, but definitely worth it! Everything on the menu is excellent. You are surrounded by general store items from the early to mid 1900s, and that's worth the drive, by itself. Invest the time. You will not be disappointed. If you can't get to Scott, then enjoy their other location in downtown Little Rock.

Great stuff. I get there a little early so you set and wait. Open at 11:00. After they open I... More

Well worth the trip for the Hubcap Cheeseburger, the "ambience" and probably any of the food. We totally enjoyed everything. The cheeseburger was yummy and huge. We kept saying we'd never finish that big burger...but we did!! Couldn't resist. A great place!

Cotham's is a restaurant in a general mercantile store from the 1930's. The walls and counters are full of artifacts of times gone by.
