Stopped here for breakfast one morning before work. The food was delicious, the prices good, and the staff great.

This is a blast from the past restuarant. Great food, friendly staff, owners are doing a great job. The Possum Pie is a must! Talalia, prime rib and twice baked potato very tasty.

We went here for lunch after a 4 hour hike on Mt. Nebo. We studied the menu for a few and I decided on the fried chicken, since that's what they were known for. When I ordered it, the server told me that it was a 20 minute wait for fried chicken. Normally, I wouldn't have minded to wait, but... More

This resturant has been around forever. It has changed ownership in 2014 and the owner is cleaning up and fixing up. There is improvement daily and the food and service is great. It is like going into the past. The food is very good and the service is consistantly excellent. If it were not for Arkansas law, most people would... More

Wanted off the interstate to eat something besides fast food. Hit the spot! From the Deep South, so know Southern cooking, and was not disappointed. My teen daughter ate all her chicken fried chicken breast and gravy! Twice baked potato looked great. Priceless atmosphere that you just can't recreate. Takes you back to time before suburbs when hometown meant something.... More

Great diner with lots of character. Elvis ate here before he was famous. Restaurant has been there since 1947. Catfish is excellent and you need to try the Possum Pie! New owner doing a great job.

And that's a good thing! Comfort food. Great portions and priced right. Fried chicken and CFS cooked to order. Comfortable booths. Lil cool but atmosphere was awesome. Reminded me of Moores in Houston,MS minus the cig smoke;)

Today my husband and I went to Old South, while it's still dated it did seem a little cleaner then it did our last visit. The server was friendly and prompt, and for the first time in a long time the food was well prepared. Not perfect but much better then the previous visits. The new owners seem to be... More

This landmark restaurant is unfortunately in a downhill slide. The restaurant is never truly clean, the wait staff (with a couple of exceptions) and cooks are constantly turning over so there is no consistency. We used to go every weekend for breakfast but after the last visit vowed "never again."

Bold roaches! One crawled onto the table & another crawled up my mother's back. DISGUSTING. We are filing a report with the health department! Never again!
