One of those types of places that I love finding. It's down home country style food and cooking. I've tried everything on the breakfast menu and everything is great. Their biscuits and gravy make you want to slap your mama and their omllettes are huge and tasty. Everybody is really friendly, service is fast, more than reasonably priced. It's classic,... More

There was a bit of a wait when we came on a busy sunday. All of the appetizers were very good, i think it is all hand breaded. I was surprised how good it was it was not greasy at all just crisp and crunchy. When i got my plate, my mashed potatoes and gravy were barely warm, but they... More

Old, diner-like restaurant that I visited for breakfast. I ate at the counter rather than a table or booth. I was there at 9 am on a Saturday and was waited on right away. I got 2 eggs over easy, hash browns and corned beef. It included a choice of a biscuit, toast, or English muffin but I declined. The... More

I had the opportunity to have breakfast with my wife at the Old South last Sunday. This place is a classic Diner with a deep history. Years ago Elvis Presley ate here when Hwy 64 was the main highway through Russellville before the Interstate Highways were built. The service is nice and friendly and our breakfast was great. I had... More

Great diner. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. Atmosphere was typical of a diner. Good food at a good value.

We searched for sometime looking for a place to eat a descent breakfast. This is the place for us. We live in Morrilton and it is well worth the drive. We always come and sit on Rhonda's side. We no longer have to tell here what we want. When we walk in She knows already what we want to drink... More

Built in 1947 and on the National Register of Historic Places.....and owner operated. Extensive menu selections including steaks, chicken, fish, burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast served all day. The food was good and the service was excellent. The homemade pies are awesome. We would definitely stop here again next time we are passing through.

This is a blast from the past restuarant. Great food, friendly staff, owners are doing a great job. The Possum Pie is a must! Talalia, prime rib and twice baked potato very tasty.
