Service is not what it used to be

Well went back to Smoking Joes on Sunday and we were ignored by the wait staff. At first I thought they were just busy - but when the tables before us emptied out and we still had to ask for service I thought something was different. apparently the first tables at noon totally wore out the servers... read more

stopped in for lunch while visiting customers. Ordered the BBQ sandwich special that comes with two sides. I thought it would be a bit of pulled pork on a roll, typical lunch fare. I found out you can get brisket for the same price so I thought I'd try that. I don't usually because most brisket I've had is dry... More

Great BBQ restaurant. The service is good, atmosphere is good. I like the brisket sandwich. Has couple different BBQ sauces that are pretty good and fit the flavor profile you are looking for. French fries are pretty good with BBQ sauce on it.

This place started out of a food truck parked near a grocery store with a limited menu and they have gradually built up to a great, homey BBQ restaurant in more than one location. Service is good, even when they are busy, and the food is good. They have a relaxed, homey/western sort of atmosphere. On the menu is everything... More

Best meal we've had yet. Everything is homemade. The Joe's houseburger was better than expected, be hungry if you order it. Go for the smaller chicken fried steak or your stomach will burst open. Great local BBQ joint.

The baby back ribs were awesome. Bbq beans were so so The fries were okay. The okra was great as was the sweet potato fries Which is what I would recommend trying. Great service, reasonable prices and ample servings.

My friend and I both ordered the jumbo ribs and should have shared one order. They were way more than we could eat. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone and the sides werre good as welll.

This is a local favorite for BBQ. Brisket, pulled pork or ribs are all good. They also have huge salads and great burgers. To top it off they have great service and some of the best cobbler around.

I grew up in the Oklahoma, Texas, St. Louis, area, moved to California and am now on the East Coast - in a State known for what they call 'BBQ' -- 3 years ago I was introduced to Smokin Joe's Rib House by a family friend - and of all the Ribs I've consumed -- Pork, Beef, Goat, Venison, and... Had to stop on my last day in NWA as my local contact said this place was the real deal. It was. Cheerful service, heaps of food. What more could you want? Seat yourself, no muss, no fuss. Felt right at home. Whatever the special is, just go for that. We had ribs with a split sausage on the side.... More
