Great place to grab quick bite

This place was recommended by my hotel and it was not disappointing. I ate here twice, both times leaving with a happy stomach. Their shish kabob is a must try, juicy tender lamb covered with parseley and onions. Very flavorful. Lentil soup was surprisingly good, different from the lentil soup I... read more

The place is right on the roundabout and offers some great bites at an economical price. The place is well lit and the service is decent. The Shawarma were my favorite followed by falafel , Hummus, french fries and fattoush.

All the townspeople go there! Busy, but wonderful food. Shawarma, falafel, at a very good price. This was the best restaurant I found in Petra. You will like it!

I think that in travelling, there is much to benefit by adopting the mindset 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do'. On that note I like to seek out places that attract local trade. While staying in Wadi Musa for four weeks I ate in Al-Arabi on a number of occasions and often at different times of the day/evening.... More

Nice restaurant with an open kitchen. Friendly staff. We had a fattah as a starter and some tasty meals. This was a recommendation of our trotter. Price value absolutely worth going.

The falafel was a little dry for my taste - could be alleviated with more yogurt sauce. The overall taste was solid but nothing special or exceptional; nonetheless in terms of bang for buck it was a good experience. tl; dr - Alright.

We were 2 vegetarians travelling in Jordan for 3 weeks. Al-Arabi has a nice selection of meat-free dishes to fill up on, for a nice price! Good place to observe and mix with the locals, too.

We asked for a gluten free dish, then got a dish with all the food served on a bread. They said we should just not eat the bread. Why did they even add the bread, risking our health? The lemon juice we had was undrinkable without a ton of sugar in it, worst we had in Jordan. The meat was... More
