Cold. Not fresh.

The food is always cold. Never fails. Over priced. I over heard another tourist say the food actually isn't even prepared in the kitchen it's brought in from somewhere else. The falafel was hard as a rock

I have visite this restaurant but nothing is seems what it likes. The food is not coming out of the kitchen of Al wadi but from Al Fandi (restaurant next door). I heard from a local that the restaurant Al Wadi is already closed for more than one year. The former owners get I a fight because the Jordanian owner... More

Food was acceptable.Service was OK. I dined outside, but cars kept passing by and made the atmosphere not attractive. When I see the bill, I find a 10% tax over menu price was added (no such tax was found in bill of another reaturant. This was not a good experience even if tax was mandatory.

Cold and disgusting food, poor service and annoying surroundings. The only valuable thing is that it was located near our hôtel. Definitely an address to skip.

Don't be beguiled by the fairy lights and the central location, the food is very very average and not cheap. Our Mackluba was nothing more than a warmed plate of rice with a cruise piece of chicken on top. Keep going down the hill and turn left till you come to the Cleopatra.

We were phenomenally disappointed by the meal and options provided. The food was cold - clearly cooked earlier and then presented to us - and the flavours were poor in comparison to other food we've enjoyed in Jordan (weakly seasoned shawarma and hoummus, undercooked fries). The pricing was also higher than comparable restaurants in the area. Service was lackluster and... More

This restaurant is just down the Alrashid Hotel and since we stayed in that hotel after petra trip we went down for dinner in this restaurant. Since we were vegetarians we asked for the options. We were pleasantly surprised they gave us good options and lovely food, not vey costly either. Thanks

Located at city centre at roundabout (called the central circle). We were a large group which I understand is a bit more difficult so there was nearly an hour between first and last meals to come out. Mezes (entree) are 1.50 JD each (portions tiny), vegetarian dishes 5-7 JD (portions big) and meat dishes about 8 JD (portions big). Slightly... More

Al-Wadi restaurant is on a road intersection, next to two kebab / grill places and a supermarket. There is seating outside and inside. The menu offers a fairly basic variety (three bedouin dishes, some pasta dishes, some omelettes, some grills), but what makes the place stand out is the enthusiastic and friendly owner (a young woman originally from the Netherlands,... Al-Wadi definitively posesses a backpacker-esque charm. We were a bit distressed about the hygiene though, as the place was filthy to say the least. The female owner was rather stingy, as she tried to turn off the AC turned on by her employee, claiming it to be 'out of order', even though it worked perfectly (and was highly needed). She... More
