The restaurant doesn´t look like much but has real character. Staff is very friendly and it has some sort of quirky vibe. Menu was very short but the dishes well prepared and was reasonably priced. If you´re passing by it is well worth a visit.

The menu is quite limited but the quality is good - not great but satisfying. The owner Linda and her two sons who were the hosts were great - extremely friendly and chatty and they welcome small children and even keep toys there to keep them occupied. Main complaint - no air-conditioning; and it was really hot.

You would never discover this amazing gem except by word of mouth or reading a review but if you are in or near Grand Baie it is a must. Linda's place is a small but charming restaurant serving beautifully prepared food in the friendliest of atmospheres. The menu is not long but each dish is carefully researched and presented. It was... More

Linda's place is a simple restaurant serving straightforward excellent food. Linda has cooked around the world and cleearly has an eye/nose/taste for very high quality ingredients, while her son Andy is an excellent host. We had the Lasagna, Chicken Curry and Lemon Chicken... Needless to say, all excellent. Trust me - if you are in the area you need to... More

We went to Linda's Place whilst on our honeymoon in October after reading reviews on here. We got such a warm welcome and the food was incredible. We cannot rate it highly enough and would recommend it to anyone - go well out of your way to visit. I just wish it wasn't so far from home!

Warmly welcomed and delicious local food! Really liked that they have limited items on their menu- as you know you are getting it fresh! Went here for dinner and returned the next evening for dinner. Cute little gem of a restaurant. Tea garden setting and friendly staff. Linda even comes by to see if you are happy with your meal.

Living in Calodyne, I havent seen any restaurant stay open for very long and have a good quality of food. At Linda's Place, I must say it is quite different. Very good food and very welcoming hosts. I ordered food for take-away one day and arrived as bit early, i was offered a drink "on the house" while waiting. They... More

Linda has traveled a lot and it shows. She takes a great deal of care to produce meals that many places would be charging much more for. My wife and I have eaten here several times since Linda and Andy opened @Linda's Place almost a year ago now and have never had a bad meal. On the contrary, by local... More
