I would not go back there. I ordered the Chicken Parmesian and it was overcooked and dried out. The sauce was very bitter and not at all Italian tasting. The worst part was the cheese they topped it with was American! C'mon people, my dog eats better than the meal I paid over $10.00 for. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

It's a standard, average chain. As a vegetarian, there wasn't much choice. My favourite item on the menu was mozzarella sticks (delicious, but not exactly what you go out to eat). Kidney beans and rice was particularly disappointing and bland. Service was fine. Nothing spectacular, but then I did go there on Mother's day and they were busy. If you... More

We were seated the table was filthy. We waited to ask if we could sit some where else. No one ever came! Strike 1 . ...Then we decided to sit over to the next table where it was clean. No one ever acknowledged us. or asked us if we wanted a water or anything. Strike 2...We waited over twenty minutes... More

Very disappointed in the food. All looked and tasted liked it was totally over cooked. Host was good. But it's pricey. Nice atmosphere, but I won't return.

The food is good especially when you are tired of fast food. I really like the chicken fried steak. Good healthy food.

I had just cut a hole in my tire on my 30th birthday trip 6 hours from home. I was devastated and we were dirty and hot and tired and couple find a decent priced hotel. We had seen several Dixie Cafes and decided it must be okay. Well it wa fabulous. While I went to the restroom my husband... More

We had hoped for a typical southern restaurant. We were looking for great fried okra and delicious greens and what they served was just average. The menu was fairly broad but not as southern as we hoped. Servings were good sized, wait staff was average. I probably wouldn't try it again.

We visited with a party of 10. Everyone liked the food. Great service and reasonable prices. We would visit them again. Can't say that about the NLR TGI Friday's we ate at the night before....

This is a chain, not your mama's Sunday table. If you keep that in mind, you'll do ok. If you are a son of the south and get too picky about how the fried okra or hushpuppies are "supposed" to taste, you'll be disappointed. This is a very safe choice when entertaining yankees from out of town. Something on the... More
