After a long 2 1/2 ride to the caves our crew was famished. We settled for Anglers. There were 6 in our party and we were there on a Sunday around 6 pm. It wasn't crowded at all, but as we were finishing up, more peeps tricked in. The view of the river is quite nice, especially if you sit... More

We were told the food was good here. They were right. It was good. I really liked the onion rings. I would definitely eat here again.

The Angler was recommended to us by the place where we stayed, but as we drove out, we noticed that the billboards said "Steakhouse" and "Private Club". I was with my granddaughter, so we weren't looking for a steak or a bar and I was a bit concerned, but she had head that it was on the water and really... More

The Anglers restaurant in Mountain View was a pleasant surprise. After reading some of the reviews and getting a less than stellar recommendation from the owner of the Inn where we stayed, we were skeptical. We drove out earlier in the day, checked the place out and met the owner. We returned for dinner and it was excellent. The service... More

I took my family to Anglers because I wanted a good steak and a glass of wine. There are no other restaurants in the local area where you can get a glass of wine, being it's a dry county. Let me say, the rib eye was EXCELLENT! Anglers has the BEST salad bar in the area too. Everything was fresh... More

Never in my life have I ever been treated like crap at a restaurant in my life. It took 20 minutes to be seated because no one cared to acknowledge we were standing there. After finally being seated had to wait another 20 minutes had to ask if we even had a waitress to take our drink and food order.... More

We needed a place for breakfast and one night for supper. Food was good and the service too. Homemade biscuits in the morning were yummy. Don't understand signing this form because it was a "private club" in a dry county.

Was seated, then waited 10 minutes for a waitress to come get our drink orders, another 5 minutes to actually get a cup of coffee....which was never refilled after the initial cup, btw. Very limited breakfast menu, they overcharged us on two breakfast items, ran our credit card 3 times before they got it right. Only breakfast potatoes are leftover... More
