Nice Deco, Cool atmosphere, good Pizzas, the best microbrewery in Chilean Patagonia and overall friendly. What else can you expect? Ok prices too.

In downtown Coihaique, a nice place to eat. Also favored by locals, can be busy at lunch time. But for late starter tourists is a very good place. Try pizza and the dark beer. Excellent!

Mama Gauchos provides a happy family atmosphere. A wide range of delicious food. The beer they provide on tap is made by the same company in their own microbrewery. All round good combination. Pizzas are cooked in brick ovens.

Reminded us of great little pizza joints and microbrew bars in the best mountain towns in the US. Thin crust pizza and fresh local beer. Completely full at lunch.

Living in Chile I miss some of the pizzas we are used to eating in the United States. Most pizzas here are the same, and you can't find like your typical pizza hut type pizza, or New York, or Chicago, but thanks to Mama Gaucha you can find a good artisan/foodie/rustic pizza. We met the owner one day and he... More

This is a throw-back to your favorite college beer and pizza joint, but teaming with locals (and families). The music is great (and loud). Service is friendly (and slow). The beer is locally brewed and delicious (I preferred the blonde, but they were out of IPA when we visited). There is a fully-loaded meat-lovers pizza that is great, but do... More

Mamma Gaucha is the best known Restaurant in Coyhaique. The Position of reataurant is best in middle of town. The kitchen is good and meal are good. It is the Restaurant where each Tourist uses when they stay in this City. People are frinedly and mostly very Young. they have their own and very good beer.

We arrived at Mama Gauchas on the night that Victor served his first house brewed IPA and it was a party! The IPA rates very good by any measure and the pizza better than many US pizzerias. The fun thing, though is flirting with the crowd. They are a raucous bunch in Coyhaique! Please stop by for a beer and... More

Convenient location right off the plaza. Great selection of salads as well and staff is very helpful. Very busy place, so go off hours.
