I was a bit shocked when I found out just now how low the ratings for this place are. Granted, service was a bit slow but not painfully so. Most of all, the staff was very friendly if maybe a bit disorganized. The food was nothing special but also not incredibly bad. We went there during lunch time and the... More

We ate there a few times with my daughter. We had a few dinners and a couple of cakes/coffee. I did not find an awful lot of options in town and I thought it was a good compromise. The food was nice, and it was great for my daughter to be able to play while we waited (a looong time)... More

This place was recommended by locals and it was interesting. The specialty that night was lamb, which I do not care for, so I tried the steak. I was not let down. It was cooked just as I had asked, was tender and flavorful. The only downside was that this place is so crowded with tables practically touching one another... More

Expensive for quality of food. 12 usd for juice and some fruit with yogurt. Not highly recommended as someone looking to get a decent breakfast in a cozy place.

This place has seen better times. Just for a drink or a bite to eat it is ok. But do not expect too much. Glases can be dirty and the bread crumbs of the past visitors may still be on your table. The personnel however is friendly which makes up for some of these short comings.

Lovely place for all meals. wifi service provided, Quick and efficient attendance , very friendly also. Food is very good and prices reasonable. The interior decoration of this place will keep you entertained through your meal. A forest cabin turned into a large restaurant area!

Never experienced bad service like this. Asking us to wait outside with a drink and then just close the door. When we commented on this the staff did not care at all. Food was also bad. A place that needs to learn customer satisfaction.

We arrived on a sunday, so we didnt have much choice for a place to have dinner. Did read some reviews which didnt seem to bad, except for the price. However, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had. When we arrived, there were no tables available, so waited for a bit. After some guests had left,... More

Dear Mischa, we really sorry the experience you had in our restorán. Unfortunately, Histórico Ricer is the only choice in Coyhaique on sundays and public days off, and this is a very tough situation to afford for a local company. And regarding the food, we really appreciate your comments, it will help us to improve our service. Sincerely, Restorán Histórico... More

Great homey feeling, mixed with a long time traveler's retreat. You'll get the feeling like you're in some lodge atop some mountain in the Himalayas. Food is amazing (though I only tried the pizza and the cake), service could be faster but is extremely friendly. There's a tourism office and a playground for children inside the restaurant. Very exotic, different,... More

The restaurant is centrally located, has a truly great atmosphere replete with old photos, and a large seating area both outside and inside. The upstairs is available during most of the tourist season and is definitely worth a visit . Food is decent ... about average and a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is what makes this place the best... More
