Another great little Warung that I can definitely recommend. This is the sister Warung of the well know Warung Little Bird. Basically the same and just as busy. If you like the local Indonesian dishes then this is one place you need to try. Very affordable nothing over $5AUS. Highly recommend!!

Had dinner here last night and was quite a let downfor our last night in Krabi. We thought we'd try a new place out given we were pretty much regulars at the places opposite the Nakamanda where we were staying. Bad move. This place was very average. Food was disappointing and a real let down. Watery mussamun curry. Tasteless prawns... More

As with most restaurants in this area, the Thai food is overpriced, but we expected that. We chose Coconut as we fancied Western food and it has a good selection on the menu. I want to emphasise that I live in Thailand and so know what to expect from food and service here. The food was fine, steaks cooked OK... More

Just a few minutes walk from the hotel the 'Coconut' looked interesting enough for lunch. We were clearly early as the place was deserted except for the owner/cook but we had a very decent lunch with a mix of Thai and 'Western' food and friendly service. The Thai food, like much of what I've had in the area was fired... More

We have had chicken cashew which was good, green curry which was tasteless, masaman curry very thin souplike curry as well, which was slightly better then the green curry and sweet sour chicken which was not good at all. The portions are really small for theprice you pay. In total we found the food too tasteless, too much maggitaste. We... More

Excellent service - prompt and kind. Kid-friendly. Nice ambience. Clean. Food was good, but I wouldn't rave about it. My favorite Thai dish that I order everywhere is the minced pork salad. It is typically chilled with an amazing vinagrette (sp) style sauce with spices. Here, it was served warm with not as much sauce - it just did not... More

We were staying in the beyond resort and tried the various restaurants outside the hotel and the coconut was definitely our favourite. We ate there at least 4 times and each time had a very good meal. The staff are lovely and attentive and they served a very nice wine (wine in Thailand is very hit and miss and not... More

A cabbie recommended this restaurant to us, which was close to where we stayed. We enjoyed the food and the ambience at this place. We couldn't find a good Thai restaurant at Ao Nang (think most of them were run by Indians). I would highly recommend this place, great food at very reasonable price. Tom Yam soup is a must... More

Went last night with my family. We ordered the satay chicken which was raw inside, The Thai red curry which was very runny and not much in it, The BBQ Fish was raw inside and had to send back. I told the chef about this and he didn't care, I will never go back. Very poor food!

Visited with my wife for a quick dinner. Since none was extremely hungry we picked springrolls and papaya salad. Rolls were good, salad was okay but rather small. Service was fast and friendly. However we did not test the full menu options the food or atmosphere did not give me impression that Coconut was something completely expectional...
