OK meal but not amazing

We tried this restaurant after seeing it advertised. It was ok, but not sensational. It was a little expensive.

The food was really good and value for money but the service was lousy. We ordered around 4 dishes between us and 2 drinks. The red curry and papaya salad was just nice

One of the first restaurants that actually took visa- what a welcomed pleasure (and one of the reasons we went back). The sea food was great and the Thai curry was delicious! Fried banana desert was amazing.

We walked on the beach searching for Elephant's End however when we reached they said they were closed. So we tried our luck at The Coconut and we found a winner. Authentic and delicious. Yes dusty, bec it's roadside. But that's part of the charm. Had the view of the sea and trees. Shrimp was superb and definitely fried banana... More

Came on the recommendation of a local. Being next to the road... Vehicles passed right outside. Everything seemed a little dusty. Decor a bit worn. We had expected more of the food but it was really average. Portions were small but adequate. I wouldn't recommend it on really if you have other choices.

Food, Wine, surrounds and staff excellent. We had a lovely meal at this restaurant, it was a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants but it was worth it for quality.

This restaurant seems to be advertised all over the village with a TA logo on it (but no award). The attitude of the Lady that sat us down was terrible, we felt we were intruding. We ordered one drink took a look at the menu and decided to walk, it just did not have a good feel to it. After... More

After touring Asia for 4 weeks this was the worst Restaurant that I have visited. The Spagetti was overcooked and tasted bland. The Starter was ok but the Asian dishes were horrible. Basically a waste of your money if you want to eat Thai. I couldn't eat my meal at all and the waitress didn't even ask why ... she... More

The food in Thailand is too good to eat bland Thai food at Coconut. Not awful, but not great. the service was slow to boot.
