Went to Crinnions again for lunch the other day and thought the food was to die for but unfortunately the service was not so good. Although our drinks order was taken very quickly the waitress came to take our food order and then half way through taking it started talking to another member of staff, quite rudely cutting us off... Really excited after my first visit to Crinnions. On the doorstep, good reputation as butchers, home reared meat, home cooked food and friendly ambience. Visited early January and goodness what a difference. One waitress was very attentive but I noticed the other was engaged in conversation with men drinking at the bar. The service was very slow...when the food came... More

You really must pay a visit here! From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted like an old friend - service is top class. The home cooked food is delicious, all plates were devoured! The place has a lovely atmosphere and has been refurbished very well. I cannot fault anything, what a gem of a place!

From the moment you step into the front of house, you feel like they were waiting for you. From the welcome, assistance with the menu, service delivery you will be reminded you are having a culinary experience. The food is excellent and there is plenty. We were seated toward the back of the restaurant and could see our chefs busily... More

I am originally from the area, but am newly returned after 40 years. I remember this as a village Butchers, but was I in for a surprise The food and service are both excellent, you may have to wait a while but everything is cooked to order. So far have tried the Cafe Menu and Sunday Lunch. Both excellent evocative memories... More

On first entering it looks like a small Bistro/Cafe and the bar area was quite busy and noisy. However when we were shown to our table it opened out like a tardis to a spacious dining area. The food was very well cooked and the menu was extensive although we opted for the two course special which had limited choice... More

The potato was powdered and you could taste it my daughter and i left ours and complained to the waitress who found it highly amusing We were reimbursed... More
