Owners James and Rhoda Adams have been married for more than 60+ years. They work together to provide one of the best burgers eith their own d pecisl flavors. Size and quality are a bargain. Throw in some homemade pie and you know you are in Foodie Heaven. Worth the time to seek out this very unpretentious location.

Such friendly people I really want to give it a good review, but just cannot do it. I ordered a dozen tamales and chicken fingers to go. I was hoping for some good homemade chicken, like Gus's in Tennessee, but ended up with a standard frozen chicken tenders and potato wedges. They were fine mind you, but was really hoping... More

The tamales, burgers, pies, etc. here are outstanding. The true measure of an eating establishment is will you come back? The answer to Rhodas is yes, yes, yes. Five stars!

Don't miss out on the experience of Rhonda's Famous Tamales. The tamales were fantastic as well as the hamburger. We got a mini sweet potato and mini lemon pie, heavenly. Decided to order two doz tamales, a whole sweet potato and lemon pie to take back home. Miss Rhonda was a pure delight to visit with.

If you're looking to experience authentic Delta hot tamales and pies, this is the place. You'll be delighted by the tasty and large portions. Although Rhoda's tamales are indeed famous, don't miss out on pies! Sweet potato, lemon, and pecan are among the stars here, and they are delightful. Rhoda even serves "fun size" pies if you want a sample.This... More

This is a must experience for anyone traveling through Lake Village. It is something like eating in your grandmother's kitchen. Food is great and you must try the tamales. Pie is great.

Place doesn't look like much, but the food was good and inexpensive. We had tamales and shared a plate and it was plenty. Had a small pecan pie and a chocolate cupcake (25 cents) and sweet tea for $15. Talking to Rhoda as she sat icing the cupcakes was a hoot.

If you're in Lake Village, do yourself a favor and stop and see Mrs. Rhoda! The tamale's are delicious (don't get three, you'll go through them too fast. Get 6 or 12!), the hamburger was great and the half sweet potato and half pecan mini pie is the perfect end to the meal. Don't be afraid of the outside, the... More

Stopped here for lunch. The tamales were wonderful and the fried chicken was hot and crispy. The chocolate pie and the lemon pie were yummy. It looks like a shack, but don't let that stop you, the food is the best!! Rhoda is a wonderful lady, very friendly as was the rest of the family we met. Go early for... More

Best hot tamales in South Arkansas. While this property does not look like a place you might go, it is so clean and the food is all delicious. Good Southern cooking. The hot tamales are fabulous. You can see Rhoda here or driving around the area in her van selling tamales and delicious homemade pies. A true experience.
