Casa De Papi is a must!!!!This place is incredible. Sitting right on the beach, this is not an experience to be missed. Everyone must experience the langostini a la papi - I've never had lobster cooked in such a delicious creamy sauce. It's $20 USD for one serving, which is absolutely NOTHING compared to what this would cost in the... More

Absolutely fantastic, must see !!!. A few words about the prices: overlooking the other reviews, I discovered some people value this place as a bit pricey. We spent about U$70 for two. BUT..., other than the stunning food we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of cozy little Carribean restaurant sitting right on the beach and listening spanish serenades and a sound... More

Langostinos and shrimp in garlic sauce ring in any trip to Cabarete Service was great too with prompt drinks, attentive without any hovering and comfortable in all of the mottled languages we could throw at them.

THE BEST food in Caberete!!! You may have heard about this place BEFORE you got into town. You may have heard about it AFTER you got there. It definitely has earned its reputation. Don't miss out on this dining experience, or you WILL miss out on the best meal you COULD have had during your DR stay...

This place is incredible. Sitting right on the beach, overlooking the water, and occasionally serenaded in spanish, this is not an experience to be missed. Everyone must experience the langostini a la papi - I've never had lobster cooked so perfectly before and in such a delicious creamy sauce. They give you all the bread you want and it comes... More

There are many restaurants on the beach but no wonder this one is packed when the others have loads of table remaining. The service is friendly and efficient, the aussie owner is lovely and so are all the waiters and the caïpirinhas are perfect. I had the gambas a la plancha, an absolute bliss. This is definitely a must-try if... More

We had our last night meal here before heading back inland to the campo and WOW. I had the lobster special while my husband choose the fish. While he also really liked his dish, he was completely jealous of my yummy pick and ended up helping me finish off the pile of lobster tails. Price wise it was on the... More

I'm a foodie, and a chef, so I am picky about my food. The ceviche was the best I've had. The house wine was a pleasant surprise for a house choice. The "Papi" sauce was fantastic. The owner is French, so he knows food and appreciates good wine! I highly recommend anything they serve.

Fun place. Don't miss it! Loved the food and dining ON the beach. The travelling minstrels were a plus

Great authentic food on the beach but a little too pricey. We paid $70+ for two entries (one of them was a plain bowl of spaghetti for our 9 year old ), 3 appetizers and 3 juices.
