Bicol express and kinalas (filling + for sharing)

The food was tasty and big enough for two, considering the prices (90-200php). I still had some money left for a fresh mango shake in my dinner budget! The mango shake went well with the bicol express. The bicol express wasn't anything like the ones i have eaten in my 30+ years - i mean this in... read more

the title sums up the most note-worthy dishes we recently had at a dinner at chef doy's. the baby squid were delicately savory and sweet, the dilis went well with the zing of tomatoes and the sweet mangoes, enveloped in bagoong dressing. the laing pella was a good foil to the bicol express

Try their baby squid, laing na paella and their chicken in pineapple sauce! The food is so good. I personally love their laing paella.

Great food and value for money. If you're missing traditional Bicolano flavours, then go to Chef Doy's for a feast. You won't be disappointed!

I have travelled to Naga City several times but I have never realized the existence of a nice restaurant - Chef Doy's. This was an invite from a respectable person…and, the prearrangement all went well. 1. Service was great!! 2. The food ordered were delicious and the meal was nicely presented (especially the "Tortang Sili"). 3. Dessert - love their... More

We went here first and was soo excited to savor the best of Naga food but the food was not impressive at all. We ordered Appetizers like the pating something, crispy tadyang, and another dish. After a while the smiling waiter said they only have tadyang. We were hungry and tired from a long drive so we ordered bicol express,... More

The best thing about this place is it offers three restaurants run by the same person, next to each other in a compound to eat in and the best of them is called Grissini. Pizza, pasta and ala Italian delicacies are passable. The restrooms are clean and staff are polite and quiet.

Don't miss out this restaurant if you're in Naga. Yummy and unique combination of foods at an affordable price. I love their baby squid so much.

I had batang batang pusit, paella bicolana and ensaladang talong. The pusit was my favorite. It was mouthwatering. It was addicting! The paella was good too and the serving was big (good for 3-4) so definitely worth the price. I liked that ensaladang talong as well. On top of the delicious food, the service was great! Chef Doy's is definitely... More
