Affordable good food

After visiting the Cagsawa Ruins, we went to Small Talk Cafe in Legazpi City for lunch. The jeepney driver was not familiar with the place. So a quick search showed that there was a nearby Jollibee branch. That one, the driver knew, so we asked to be dropped off there. The restaurant is a few... read more

We ordered a number of dishes and most of them were average. The pili pie was good - buttery and not too sweet. The grilled pork spare ribs was super dry and flavorless. The pizzas were tasty and the flavors blended very well. The service, on the other hand, was extremely bad. We waited around 30 minutes for our food... More

When we first arrived, this is where we had our first lunch and it was pretty good! We ordered for a pizza with Laing and it was delicious! The place is quite popular amongst tourist and locals too. The interior is so nice taking you back into the old Hispanic times. My only comment was our pizza took so long... More

While searching for places to eat in Legaspi, this was one of my top choices based on the Menu provided online. The location was almost hidden inside the stretch of establishments in Legaspi. We ordered Bikolano favorites and it delivered well. My personal favorite is the Seafood Fiesta drenched in coconut milk sauce with a bowl of shrimps, fish, crab,... More

The menu is very comprehensive, lots of local dishes as well as European faves. The food was delicious with a complimentary soup to start. The staff and service were excellent. If you want to try a local delicacy go the taro leaves - sensational and certainly nothing I've ever found in Australia.

We tried this resto on the recommendation of our tour driver and we had high expectations considering that it was rated #2 here on Trip Advisor (at the time that we checked) and it appeared to be very popular as it was jam packed and we waited for some time for our table to become available. Unfortunately, it wasnt a... More

Desserts are recommended. Staff are genuinely polite and sweet. I ordered their carbonara and I loved it! I must see this cafe when I find myself in Legazpi again.

As soon as i entered the cafe, i felt at home. their decors were rustic & small-town themed. The food prices were affordable & can rate their meals as OK. not superb, not amazing.

Small Talk ain't small in terms of its flavors and choices. I tried again their crispy squidlets and their pastas - pili and pinangat. These now becomes a classic worth returning for. The crunch and salty flavors of the squidlets combined with the sweet sauce brings much delight for a lover of bacon. Am I now a seafood convert??? Wait... More
