Buon Giorno is an authentic Italian restaurant, perched on the caldera of Taal Volcano/Lake. We go there frequently, when we want that "Italian food fix." From pasta to chicken parmigiana, to pizza, plus various Italian desserts; they have a very thorough and diversified menu.

I've always look for this restaurant whenever I'm in Tagaytay. The food quality is very consistent and the staff service gradually improves. Of course, the magnificent Taal Lake view also adds value. They offer sumptuous selection of food; serving is very generous without having to be pricey. I really love the Insalatta di Tonno (Seared Tuna) and now Ive found... More

I've eaten here around three times and all of them good. Try the lamb, and don't forget the pizzas. Steaks and pastas are also great. If you're eating here dinner time better reserve, this place can get packed easily specially on weekends.

Food is good, especially the four-cheese pizza and the carbonara. However, service is poor- crew lacks warmth. Needs to be reminded for water refill (expected of a resto with a Php400 price range). Al fresco area smells of cat poop and there are giant mosquitos.

It was my second time here and hubby's first. Between the two of us though, it's hubby who likes Italian food more and knows more about it than I do. He said, a lot is missing in the menu but he was happy with what "I" ordered. I ordered the Buon Giorno salad and 4-cheese pizza and hubby ordered antipasto... More

Went there on a Saturday evening so we were expecting the place to be jam packed, thankfully it wasn't. Their lasagna was very fulfilling! Pizza was just OK.

Ok so this doesn't compare to Italy.. but it's surprisingly good considering Tagaytay has terrible food. I frequent this place, about once a week for the past 3 months.. quality is fairly consistent. Ambiance: Ehh. The only thing special about it is the view of Taal Volcano, which you need to sit outside to really get a good view. Definitely... More
