Simple, Healthful Buffet

We like fresh green salads and the one at the buffet is nice - with edible petals! The pasta, salmon belly and capers seem light, but are definitely filling. I was introduced to tarragon tea there, which was beautiful with the glazed sweet potato and turon. Tarragon tea is now a daily ritual for... read more

i've heard people rave about Sonya's Garden Restaurant, so probably I expected too much from them. I was disappointed with the buffet lunch, as it was basically salad, pasta with tomato or carbonara sauce, salmon belly, mushrooms, sweetened camote and turon, with a slice of chocolate cake and refillable dalandan juice. For paying P670/ person, I was hoping to get... More

Been wanting to try Sonya's Garden for forever so i was so happy when my friend's wedding was held here. But it was just a disappointment. Our salad bowl had a worm so we called the server. They apologized and said they will just replace it. And when the replacement came, my friends started eating and guess what? They found another... More

The last time I've been to Sonya's was like 10 years ago. This month since we're in Tagaytay, we went to Sonya's Garden. Simple buffet menu but it was delicious. They have salad, pasta and a choice of tomato or cream based sauce, shitake mushroom, salmon, and desserts like Turon (banana) and sweet potato and dalandan juice. The mango slices... More

It was a warm sunny Sunday when we visited this place. Getting from the city going to Buck Estate wasnt much of a problem. It was like getting an escape from the noise of the city up to the place where we would have some peace. The path from the highway up to the restaurant was also fulfilling I should... More

I've decided to make Valentine's this year a special treat for my love by taking her a for a spa treatment and then lunch l at Sonya's Garden. Our masseuse's was one the best that we ever had and probably one of the most relaxing and invigorating massage ever and my partner is a professional masseuse herself. Ms. Emily even... More

There were a lot of customers but they lack crews to provide service. It takes forever before you get served. The value of money is not worth it. 700p for some eat all you can pasta, mushrooms and salmon? Oops I forgot the salad which lacks flavor! Comes with a free bread of what? Dont eat here. So far from... More

Used to be better a couple of years ago but they should change their repertoire. The bakery has some nice offerings but you have to get there at the right time as they run out fast. Also, items like empanadas seem to be only made in the weekends

My friends and I dined at their garden restaurant. Most of the foods are Filipino. Price is affordable. The taste of the viands can be compared to other Filipino reataurant but what makes the dining memorable is the whole experience of eating here. The ambiance is so nice! Very charming. You can actually walk around the garden after eating. It... More
