Good food great view

Nice air-conditioned place offering filipino food. Restaurant has been in existence for as long as I can remember. I love their kare-kare (ox-tail).

Parts of the restaurant are open air with with beautiful views of Taal Volcano lake. Very nicely decorated, a cut above typical restaurants found in Tagatay. The food is very good, preparation is very different from typical Filipino fare. Try the mango fruit shake; it deliciously refreshing. If you like a little spicy food, try the Halaan clams with chili... More

We went here to celebrate Father's day and it was so worth it. Good thing we went to this place right after hearing the mass because by lunch time (12nn), there was already a long line of guests waiting to be seated. Food: Great! The food is great! We ordered the seafood platter and you can tell by first bite... More

My last visit to Josephine's restaurant was about 5 years ago. We frequent Tagaytay (almost about 10 times a year) either with visitors (touring them around) or just us. As there are so many eating places in Tagaytay, we have indulged in eating adventures by going to the new ones and sort of forgotten our old favorite, until we thought... More

For me simply the best! It is my favorite restaurant in Tagaytay... nice ambience, great view of the Taal volcano and lake, friendly staff, the food is great, served warm and definitely delicious! They have a vast selection of food items on their menu and prices are affordable. Been here numerous times with family and friends... it is worth it!

The view is simply wonderful! There's no way that the food can match the view but it comes close. The restaurant is very clean and modern and the food is great. The Bulalo was awesome as well as the deep fried Kare-kare. Well worth the travel time to get there from the Manila metro area, highly recommend it!

We were invited by a car club for a lunch gathering and a preview of their new product. The function room was just cramped for about 60 pax since most of the attendees were grown men. The food served were sumptuous, good warm temperature - the pesto pasta was bland, the leche flan was very good, not too sweet. The... More

This place is a must if you are planning on visiting Tagaytay. After our visit to the Volcano we stopped off here to eat. The staff is very courteous and the food was really good. As a vegetarian, my choices in the Philippines were pretty limited most places but the appetizers and main course of vegetables with rice were excellent... More
