This is strictly a traditional vegetarian restaurant in Bagan with the best food and best prices. Wonderful flavorful dishes with very inexpensive prices. We sat outside and enjoyed different dishes which were served "myanmar" style in small bowls. The fun in eating this way is that you experience traditional burmese food by sharing dishes. We started with homemade guacamole dip... More

We loved it so much we went there 3 times during our brief stay in Old Bagan and our host and the staff were wonderful. All the dishes we had were completely delicious, pineapple with coconut and star anise was surprisingly good and the tamarind leaf curry was outstanding. But even the eggplant and pumpkin options were brilliant. Definitely do... More

This was our favourite place to eat, we didn't have one bad meal - I never knew vegetarian food had such variety! The venue is quirky and attractive with staff who speak great English - try it;)

This is the same restaurant as Moon. Some travellers seem to have it down under s different name. If you combine the two then it's probably #1 in Bagan!

... and that's saying something, because there are a number of inexpensive little vegetarian places around Tharabar Gate. I just liked this best. It's got great, interesting food, a lovely setting and excellent service -- our lunch-time waiter had totally fluent English. I had a fabulous pineapple/coconut curry and my friends had stir-fried potatoes and beans and a tea-leaf salad.... More

Went here for late breakfast/brunch. The service was slow and the fried okra dish was under-cooked. Nevertheless, the other food items - lemonade, potato curry, plain rice - were decent and place is worth a visit.

A lovely little place to stop on the temple rounds, freshly cooked food which is very tasty and reasonable prices. There are artisan shops nearby if you need a bit of retail therapy as well. A cold Myanmar beer always goes down well after a hot and dusty day on the dirt tracks

When you consider what other delicious veggie options are around and about, this place is definitely overpriced. I had a potato salad, which consisted of 4 new potatoes split in two and some spring onions. It was indeed very nice, but I felt ripped off, considering the other great veggie options at a lot cheaper price in Bagan. It also... More

Fantastic food here - probably one of the best vegetarian restaurants I have been to anywhere, in fact. Really nice selection of curries and salads and all sorts of dishes (even guacamole!), and about 20 kinds of lassi. The food was very fresh and seemed very healthy, which is nice to find when you're traveling. The staff were all really... More

I loved my lunch break at this restaurant. While the atmosphere was geared more towards tourists, the food was local authentic food and the prices were somewhere in the middle of high tourist "gotcha" prices and the truly local restaurants. I ordered spring rolls, a lassi and fried noodles with vegetables. All delicious.
