Of all Pelita nasi kandar branches in Malaysia i tried before, this is the best branch serving ayam goreng (fried chicken). At peak hour, be patience lining up waiting to select your orders. Variety kind of menu, from roti canai to mee mamak. P/s: try to order extra plate of 'kuah kicap' and have it with fried chicken. Finger lickin'... More

Since I have worked here, I usually had wonderful meals like Nasi Kandar once a week. It is Cheap and nice But depends on areas. I was lucky to be around University Area that is why meals are cheap. Moreover, it depends on your meat choice, too. I am able to pay for mutton; it is nice and healthy as... More

The Chai Leng park outlet is the first Pelita outlet. The food is good especially the rice.It some how is different from other outlets. They have also expanded their business with south Indian al carte food in an air conditioned place. Vegetarians, are taken care too with an array of Indian dishes.

During a month in Penang in June this year, I had about 8 meals at the McAlister Road Nasi Kandar. This place is always very clean and hygienic, and the meals very appetising. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking great food and service.

Tried the fried chicken and curry chicken, both tasted nice. There is air-con room available, to dine at the room, no need to queue, just go in, waiter will come to take order. Each dish cost additional RM0.20 for dining at the air-con room.

Worth visiting if it is along your planned route. Nasi kandar is one of the Malaysian typical place to have breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and even supper. Do try it.

Nasi kandar is always 1 of my favourite food. This Pelita at Chai Leng Park branch is the 1st shop for Pelita. If you go at lunch & dinner time, the queue will be long. You will need to queue up at the food counter before your turn to point & request what dish or meat you desire. All time... More
