Very casual, unassuming harbour restaurant offering awesome fish and chips and other seafood at reasonable prices. All meals were fantastic and we left feeling quiet content.

easy, simple, affordable, directly on the harbour. Real people, real food, and quite an entertaining waiter ...

Have been a few times over the last few years and it is shocking how much it has gone downhill. Also have it on good authority from "locals" that proces go up in December and portions smaller.

I agree with many other reviewers that the menu and food is pretty average, the setting a bit ramshackle but cute if you like that sort of thing. The views are quite nice on a good weather day. Service was good - we didn't enjoy one of the fish dishes we ordered and they immediately brought an alternative without charging... More

Coming from Europe we are not used to smoking in restaurants, though we found that in SA people generally also do not. Imaging our surprise that in this restaurant non-smokers are obliged to sit in a cold marquee outside. The interior is ramshackle rope and planking with graffiti all over the tables, although this might be a deliberate attempt to... More

Sit out side and watch the sea and the seagulls while you snog on their great calamari and chips - or the other great seafood.

Invited here for lunch with family. Service average and food uninspiring. Quite disappointing considering the spectacular views and setting of the restaurant.

One of the best settings in town. On waters edge next to the harbour wall. Rustic atmosphere. The Pirates Breakfast and the Combo baskets come highly recommended. Good value for money.

So the location is pretty good, but the choice and price of food/drinks were a little steep. My husband and I visited many years previously without a little one and it was ok. Its not somewhere I would bring children, as there is no where for them to play, and the seating arrangement outside is too cramped. There are also... More

Absolute disaster. Use to be a lovely place to visit with delicious hake and chips. Not the same. Waiter forgot my husbands order. By the time his meal eventually came it looked like left overs and the whole family already finished their meal. Not recommended
