beer was good, they had a variety at a very low cost, the place was very untidy, flies every where and the washroom were very dirty...they switched off, a live premiership game....for a local news bulletin, in swahili which we wldnt uderstand.

The place has an authentic feel to it and the food is good. I would recommend to pass on mouton or beef because the parts they use are quite poor. If you order meat, stay with the chicken and fish. The prices are higher compared to other local restaurants but are still cheap. The service is excellent. The quantities are...

Very well priced and excellent foods. The curry is always a winner. At times you can find yourself waiting a while for your food (It's all cooked fresh using local methods) so I would recommend calling ahead. The restaurant itself has a intimate feel and is well worth a visit at night. Tip: Get the tables under the fans.
My husband and I took the opportunity to try some of the local cuisine at the African Pot - the dishes were delicious! We would both recommend that travellers to the area give it a go!

As it was May time the restaurant were doing some renovations but the tables had been...

Went in a for a drink with friends, nice bar, was left alone and to our own devices! Great music and football on the TV!
The African Pot served the best swahili cuisine we´ve tried in Kenya and Tanzania. Very friendly service and the dishes are very delicious. Their fresh juices are really amazing, I usually drank some 3-4 of them for the dinner. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and homey, they try hard to make your experience memorable. Really loved the place.
Teh best of African Buffet I have had at the coast. This is a known restaurant but the integrated Buffet idea is superb! I went twice a week and I got different choices! Very recommendable! Wednesday and Friday night! Then a life band! What else do you need?
The staff, management, food and venue was Five stars and well above 5 stars. weill be back
