Great cuisine in great ambience by great staff. Quiet for family events and relaxing from the din of town a few paces away.

This restaurant is a real find. We've been living in Kenya for 3 years, on and off, and one of the things we always did when returning to the UK was visit a local Indian Restaurant. But not now! We've got an excellent, authentic, Indian restaurant right here on our doorstep.
It's got good ambiance, and it's clean and tidy....

This place is fantastic. Everything is good. I trust the cleanliness- because you watch them make you meal through a large kitchen menu. Prices are around 1500- so as a student, I only went for special occasions.
Loved the food and the ambiance! definitely one of the highlights of my time in Kisumu! The service was quick and polite and the chef actually came out to converse with the clientele which I thought was awesome!
amazing indian food....just the way you like it!but by the time you finish your starter you are already too full for the main course!
This place was highly recommended to us by some other Americans. Food is delicious and flavorful which is hard to find in Kenya. Great food, reasonable prices and a lot of space. Usually fairly empty but a nice quiet spot to have a quality Indian meal.
Lovely food in the heart of Kisumu. Thanks God he brought Haandi to Kisumu! Very tasty food, Nice staff.
Thats the only word for it! This place surpassed all my expectations! I don't normally eat Indian food, but I loved everything about this place. The atmosphere, the service, and of course the food! If you are in or around the Kisumu area and don't go here you are definitely missing out on an amazing culinary experience.
Haandi's serves up an extensive list of tasty Indian dishes at a reasonable price. The food is hot, delicious and at around US$6 for a vegetarian dish, not too expensive by Western standards (though it is for Kenya). When I went, I found a mix of Kenyan, Indian, and Western people all happily eating. For drinks, I'd also recommend purchasing...
