Nice setting, cool furniture and bar from old train parts, decent food and good service… Bolivia isn't my number one restaurant destination, but this place managed a good meal in an interesting setting, about as good as it gets in Uyuni! Good music to boot! Hope this review was helpful!!!

We just came here for pre dinner drinks. The atmosphere was just OK. It's a huge space with a big fire place in the middle, but unfortunately the fire was not lit (see my pictures). The menu looks interesting... maybe a bit on the expensive side compared to other places in town.

We had beers here & then came back to eat, that's not to say that the menu was amazing, just that the choices in Uyuni were pretty limited! Llama steak was good although Quinoa was bland & burger was good! Decor is fab though, it is dark on entering but tables made from train wheels & a bar from the... More

La Loco is a resto for tourists. It is a warm and cosy place. Portions are big and tasty. Big choice. It is not far from Hotel Jardines de Uyuni, in the same street, a bit out of the center of Uyuni. Prices are touristprices. Recommended.

Nearby the main square & across from the San Juan park/playground, this restaurant is a good spot for dinner. I had the llama steak with black pepper sauce which was tender & was served with sautéed quinoa & vegetables, yum. Good selection of desserts too, crepes with caramelised apples & Brazil nut & choc tart were very enjoyable. Overall a... More

And nothing french about it. Vegetarian lasagna was disgusting, a huge mass of tasteless nothing. The place is freezing cold so had to keep our coats on. To be avoided

Came here while visiting Salt flats and had a lama steak which was really good. Prompt service and reasonably priced food, plus a proper toilet which is not to be taken for granted ;-) Only downside for some travelers might be that you can't pay with credit card.

Ok I will not talk about the food here (I have nothing spectacular to say). But my experience in Loco was great. Sometimes it is not the food that matters. Coming back from the cold Salar and having three hours to wait until the night bus, La Loco was a heaven. The big fireplace in the middle made all the... More

Nice place to dine although a little cold at night. But the Lama steak in thick, juicy and comes with a pepper or blue-cheese (Roquefort) sauce which is delightful! The receipts are French, no wonder!
