We had a great meal here - the wine and food were great and the service was also great! Our waiter did not speak english but worked very hard to answer our questions!

Located at the Eastern side of the main square San Martin, this restaurant has an elegant setting with red over white table cloths, good service and good menu choices. For appetizers, we shared a grilled goat cheese with a mix of greens and a creamy pepper sauce. For main courses we enjoyed a beautifully presented pork medallion with carrot, pears... More

I was really looking forward to this meal as a friend from Buenos Aires recommended this restaurant. First, our waiter tried to push more expensive wine on us (as he was being pushed by the somalier). Second, we ordered appetizers, salads, and main courses. In about 10 minutes our entrees appeared (no salads, no appetizers) and we had to ask... More

Very good restaurant on the main square of Cafayate. Beautiful terrace on the square, also a garden in the back. The service is also great. The rabbit with mustard is very tasteful

The food and the service are both great! The waiters are great advisers of where to go and what to do. Food is homemade and fresh. Great wines too!

Wonderful restaurant on the square. Excellent food and service, an extensive an remarkably wine list (two great, high end bottles of wine cost us a total of $25 - but you can drink really well for much less). I ate the best trout I've ever had.

This restaurant completely lived up to the Tripadvisor reviews. Our steak was first rate but could have been a little bit hotter. The service could not be faulted, a very good meal in a very nice location.

In the centre of Cafayate, a charming small village in Salta's southern wine region which produces so excellent wines at high altitude vineyards (1,750 meters or more in some instances), Terruno is an excellent choice for well-prepared local foods and wines. Service was particularly friendly and helpful. Prime seating on tables set up on the sidewalk in front of the... More

I had read that the food was not great but was very surprised by the quantity and variety of local dishes and regulars. Had the steak done rare..covered in a sort of thin pancake with mix of vegetables. We were there for atmosphere and wanted to eat outside..the location is perfect ..right on the main square ..but not overrun with... More

Having been travelling in Argentina for over a month we are well aware this isn't the most 'authentic' of restaurants and, with a menu translated into English, is touristy. The food though was excellent and a bit of a change from the norm. We both had the steak in filo pastry on a bed of fresh vegetables with a mushroom... More
