We ate here both nights of our two night visit.

The service by Guillermo was some of the best I have ever had. We chose to eat indoors to avoid traffic fumes from the street side tables. Outstanding salmon and beef dishes. Fresh salads were excellent and very large. Meant to be split. The waiter had good wine recommendations. Skip the key... read more

Terruno Gourmet is a very popular place taht lives up to its name. The food is excellent--we had trout and steak. The well prepared meals, excellent service despite the press of clients, the fine selection of wines (we opted for the local) and the central location make this an excellent option for lunch or dinner.

One Saturday night I ate here as the guest of the world-famous author Doug Casey. In fact he sat right at my table. It's a beautiful restaurant. Food is superior and service excellent.

Ate dinner outdoors on square. Very nice waiter. Nice view. But the food was mediocre at best--a baked goat cheese salad consisted of some dull greens with two slabs of cheese that had obviously been pre toasted and left out for hours--cold and rubbery. Empanadas were greasy. Overall, yuk. Plus: you'll breathe a lot of diesel pollution on the square.... More

My wife and I had two hours to kill between tours and our guide recommend this place. We both had the trout and it was fresh and tasty. We finished with the flann and was not disppoint either. I would recommend this place.

While in Cafayate we ate at this restaurant twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. We enjoyed it both times immensely. Authentic Argentine cuisine, very good service, reasonably priced, and an excellent location on the main square. A great place to watch the world go by and enjoy fine culinary treats from Argentina.

One of my favorite restaurants in Argentina. Unpretentious cusine wiht just the right amount of work. Fresh ingredients are well selected & treated with respect. Carlos Amante, the cheff & owner is always present and full of positive energy. He does most of the cooking and even finds the time to share some time with guests. Don't be suprised if... More

We enjoyed our meal the nice atmosphere- on the street, the great local wine. The soups and the meat were delicious.
