We have gone to El Acapulco several times thinking it would get better. While the entrees were average the sides seemed like they were straight from a can.

Excellent Mexican food some of the best around the area. The oldest Mexican restaurant in the 13 years I have lived in the area. The is my first choice for Mexican food if that is what we want when we decide to eat out.

This restaurant has been here for quite a few years now, and we have eaten there numerous times. Good food, well flavored, good portions and an efficient staff. You'll like it.

We had a nice visit. The atmosphere and staff were nice. The food was nothing special. Not bad at all, but simply the same as any other mexican cuisine anywhere. Could have been a little bit spicier. I would visit here again.

The food was very bland , my burrito had no flavor . The chips were not fresh , the salsa was just ok .

Frozen and on the rocks margaritas are only $1.99 - great price - have had better but not at that price. We've tried a number of dishes, but recommend the chicken or beef fajitas and ground beef burritos. the side of guacamole is tasty, as is the flan for dessert. If you don't like loud Spanish sports TV, you may... More

We found this restaurant coming back from Eureka Springs on Hwy 7 (north of Hot Springs). We were certainly due for lunch by the time we stopped around 2pm as most in our 4 person party were chomping at the bit. Everyone loved the salsa. The entrees were just as tasty and the service was good as our tea/water glasses... More

In my opinion, there is no good Mexican restaurant in the immediate Hot Springs Village area since the "Banana Leaf" restaurant left. Probably no middle class actual Mexican would "dine" at the ones we have now. They are OK for a quick meal, especially if washed down with a good beer (or wine) but not as a "dining experience". When... More

The other Mex style Restaurant on Hwy. 7 by West Gate is so much better, shrimp soup, and chicken dishes. Been several times with friends at El Acapulco, and disappointed, that I will never return.
