Good Mexican Food for Arkansas

We were quite pleased with the food and especially the service we got here. Not quite Tex-Mex or Mexican and was very tasty.

The food is real good. The drinks are really, real good. Service is fast and friendly. Décor is upscale Mexican with brilliant colors. Outside seating is nice.

Three of us stopped here for lunch with fairly low expectations, as two of us had eaten dinner her several months ago and were not impressed. Lunch bumped-up our assessment quite a bit. Unfortunately, we arrived just a huge party had been seated, putting quite a strain on the staff. However, they managed to keep up with only slight glitches... More

With their huge menu, this restaurant definitely has something for everyone. Their meals are well prepared, nice portion size and reasonably priced. I particularly like their enchiladas and their taco salad at lunch is a great choice as well. Everything tastes fresh.....I also love the service level here. You will never have to wait for more tea, chips, salsa, etc.... More

This is one of several Mexican restaurants located in or near Hot Springs Village. It is far and away the best. The menu is complete with lots and lots of great choices. Our favorite was the Ranchero Special....wonderful....the prices are reasonable and the service is great....

I brought my wife here for her birthday dinner (her choice). We've driven by before, but this is the first time we've stopped (we moved here 3 months ago). We were seated within 60 seconds after stepping inside the door. Our waiter was a young man who was very attentive, and he was very good at checking back with us.... More

El Acapulco competes with several Mexican food establishments in Hot Springs Village. The food is definitely worth the wait but when we visited we waited far too long. twenty minutes before even being acknowledged!! The staff was passing in from of us but no information about when we would be seated . Finally we were seated and offered some very... More

Texans stay away. This is not the quality of Mexican food you are accustomed to eating in Texas. The tacos and burritos were not appetizing. There was one dish that my brother ordered that was good. It had shrimp and chicken on a bed of rice and was smothered in onions, peppers, and a cheese sauce. If you are dying... More

We have gone to El Acapulco several times thinking it would get better. While the entrees were average the sides seemed like they were straight from a can.

Excellent Mexican food some of the best around the area. The oldest Mexican restaurant in the 13 years I have lived in the area. The is my first choice for Mexican food if that is what we want when we decide to eat out.
