I brought my wife here for her birthday dinner (her choice). We've driven by before, but this is the first time we've stopped (we moved here 3 months ago). We were seated within 60 seconds after stepping inside the door. Our waiter was a young man who was very attentive, and he was very good at checking back with us.... More

El Acapulco competes with several Mexican food establishments in Hot Springs Village. The food is definitely worth the wait but when we visited we waited far too long. twenty minutes before even being acknowledged!! The staff was passing in from of us but no information about when we would be seated . Finally we were seated and offered some very... More

Texans stay away. This is not the quality of Mexican food you are accustomed to eating in Texas. The tacos and burritos were not appetizing. There was one dish that my brother ordered that was good. It had shrimp and chicken on a bed of rice and was smothered in onions, peppers, and a cheese sauce. If you are dying... More

We have gone to El Acapulco several times thinking it would get better. While the entrees were average the sides seemed like they were straight from a can.

Excellent Mexican food some of the best around the area. The oldest Mexican restaurant in the 13 years I have lived in the area. The is my first choice for Mexican food if that is what we want when we decide to eat out.

This restaurant has been here for quite a few years now, and we have eaten there numerous times. Good food, well flavored, good portions and an efficient staff. You'll like it.

We had a nice visit. The atmosphere and staff were nice. The food was nothing special. Not bad at all, but simply the same as any other mexican cuisine anywhere. Could have been a little bit spicier. I would visit here again.

The food was very bland , my burrito had no flavor . The chips were not fresh , the salsa was just ok .

Frozen and on the rocks margaritas are only $1.99 - great price - have had better but not at that price. We've tried a number of dishes, but recommend the chicken or beef fajitas and ground beef burritos. the side of guacamole is tasty, as is the flan for dessert. If you don't like loud Spanish sports TV, you may... More

We found this restaurant coming back from Eureka Springs on Hwy 7 (north of Hot Springs). We were certainly due for lunch by the time we stopped around 2pm as most in our 4 person party were chomping at the bit. Everyone loved the salsa. The entrees were just as tasty and the service was good as our tea/water glasses... More
