Local Ingredients

Delicious food! Top local ingredients and served in a special and delicate way. Good wines and awesome desert. A bit expensive but it's worth a visit.

Food is a great representation of their gastronomy... Caracas has a very particular gastronomy because of its diversity and Alto is a very nice place to get an idea of how they perceived this.

Service at Alto is an insult to chef Carlos Garcia's talent. Everything is set up to function like a machine, and probably does at times, but the staff seems furiously adverse to any change in the script. My friends and I called ahead twice to book a table for six and confirm that there would be a vegetarian guest -... More

Expensive for local economy standards, but very professional, creative and good kitchen. Nice attention, no too well located for its category. However, safe if you know your way around. Restaurant is kind of hidden.

A very lively bar when I visited, hip stylish and a good crowd. Much as I remember bars in Caracas 10 years ago although now sadly increasingly hard to find. The food was good, well cooked and well presented too. My only complaint is that the service was a little surly and they were far from efficient in the processing... More
