One of the best Peruvian restaurants in Caracas. You've got to try the octopus and the ceviches, the goatling and the chocolate sphere dessert. They're a must.

Over the last three years I have visited this restaurant three times and I have a feeling they are going down one step each time . This time here are my comments : I understand that food and drink supply is complicated in Caracas today , but finding sparkling water should not be impossible ! We could get sparkling water... More

For me Peruvian food is excellent, this new style for me is to enjoy a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful presentation, discover the typical Peruvian dishes in this new style. I visited this restaurant on 3 occasions, the last two if food was a little salty in my opinion.

This place is minimalistic and overall beautiful. Food is expensive but delicious athough beware of small portions. The ceviche is a Peruvian delicacy at its best in this restaurant. Had a wonderful pumkin risotto with shellfish and all desserts are to die for

It was my first A&G, and still is my favorite. Food and Service have been execelent, the quality of the meat was outstanding and same holds true for all other ingrediants and beverages, which is not normal in this country. When you are in Caracas, make sure you drop in.

Astrid y Gaston is a place where you should go when you feel like having Peruvian food in Caracas - even though some food on the menu sound like fusion between Venezuelan and Peruvian food already. It's pricey though in my humble opinion. Unfortunately the restaurant is so cold from the A/c and it's a bit annoying.
