For a great Meal

If you want a relly good meal you must go... the price is high but a great spanish meal. You can have some drinks and eat some tapas or just lunch.

Authentic spanish cuisine, fabulous atmosphere, Great seafood, stews, meats, paella, etc. THE place to go. Best basque food in Caracas, best any food in Caracas, this little place is like eating in a little sea side home in Spain!

Caracas has a tradition of tascas that rivals Madrid itself. With that in mind, and even though I have a family history of visiting another spanish restaurant in Caracas, I have to say that El Mesón is just my first option for an iberian themed dinner. Not only is Andrés himself, the man running the show, one of the best... More

In my opinion this is one, or maybe the best Spanish Food Restaurant in Caracas. Its Menu has some basics as Tortilla de Patata, Empanada Gallega, Jamon Serrano, Pulpo a la Gallega... etc, but also have added some chef specialties that are a real delight, according to the fish or ingredients of the season. Ask the Maitre or Andrés itself... More

I went a few times to Andres with colleagues since it was very close to our office during my stay in Caracas, mainly for lunch and every day I enjoyed their Spanish cuisine. Attentive service and captivating atmosphere are complemented by real Northern Spain style cuisine. “Tortillas”, “Lacon”, “Boquerones”, “Pulpo a Gallega” and many more dishes were just delicious. Moderate... More

This is a traditional Spanish tasca in Caracas you really feel you could be in Spain. Excellent tapas. Do not miss the serrano ham and manchego cheeese. The tortillla de papas and the tortilla de chorizo are great ! Very nice pimientos de padrón too. For main courses, try the cochinillo or the bacalao a la gallega. For dessert a... More
