Has the same owners as "Punto Criollo" and "Lugar de Encuentro" in Porlamar, the food choice varies between the three but is equally good, so is the service. Moderate to high prices, but only compared to the average Venezuelan restaurant with much lower quality of food and "service".

The food was terrible on everyone's account. The fish soup was stinky and had to be returned. The squid was not fresh. The paella was nothing special. The service was OK. I would never go back to this place.

I keep going back to El Remo every time I'm n the island. Food is very good. Service is fast. Prices are ok. Portions are huge. I love the pastel the chucho, the arroz a la marinera. Leave room for dessert! Sangria is good too!

Located in central Porlamar, this Spanish restaurant is popular with the local crowd and offers an extensive menu focused on seafood. Décor is nothing elaborate or pretentious, but tuxedo-clad waiters welcome you with crisp, warm garlic bread (probably the best I’ve ever tasted) and are patient and friendly at making suggestions on the menu.
