Dont leave San Antonio without buying some chocolates here!

I had read Tripadvisor suggestions before arriving to San Antonio de Areco so I knew I had to go to La Olla de Cobre. I am a chocolate lover so I went at noon. They close between 1 and 3 PM. There is always a line but staff is friendly and fast. NO credit card!!! They sell wonderful alfajores... read more

A great little candy store! If we were rating candy stores I'd give it 5 stars. I wouldn't recommend it for a meal, though. They don't have real food. "#1Restaurant in San Antonio"? I don't think so. Maybe it should be listed under attractions or something.

The staff were friendly and the chocolate was amazing - we had a delicious alfajore and we were given samples upon arrival. A pretty interior, too.

A wonderful, friendly artisan chocolatier and tiny cafe, took home as many as possible, they were busy with Easter coming but sound time to let us try lots of their wares.

We heard great things about this little place but the chocolates are pretty standard. If you are used to Cadburys then this is much better, but if William Curley, Yuzu, and Paul A Young are your chocolate standards then don't bother with this.

Not a restaurant: it's a chocolate factory. Just walk in the door of the Olla de Cobre and you are nearly bowled over by a heady warm waft of chocolate. You don't have to be a kid to get a huge thrill from this family-run artisan chocolate shop. Carlos, wife and daughter, make all the products themselves, starting with pure... More
