Serviceable pizza in an unexpected place

Very satisfying after a long day of hiking. The lamb pizza was our favorite and we enjoyed trying the local beers. The service was slow, but par for the course in Argentina. Being proactive (and polite) goes a long way to mitigate the frustration of slow service.

This restaurant knows what it is trying to do and does it very well. Brilliant Pizzas, excellent and friendly service and reasonable prices. They deserve to do very well.

We spent three nights upstairs at the bed and breakfast. Mariana was an excellent host from start to finish; very helpful with suggestions on hike planning. And the pizza downstairs was great! Highly recommended, whether for a meal, a stay, or both. Thanks, Mariana!

I've been coming to El Chalten for a number of years and without fail always come to Patagonicus. Relaxed atmosphere, good friendly service, the food has been consistently good over the years, never once had a bad experience. I have to say that they do the best chocolate brownies I've ever eaten. Highly recommend a visit.

Went twice because I enjoyed the pizza and it was affordable. Both times the waitresses accidentally charged me more than what I owed. The first time I assumed it was an honest mistake. The second time I started wondering if this was a trick they use frequently on stupid tourists. If you go, make sure you double check your bill... More

Good pizza, good beer, but shame about the service. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes even for a menu to be brought to the table and then about another 30 minutes for our pizza - not good enough.

We ate here more than a few times on our recent week-long stint in El Chalten. As other reviewers note, this is a great pick for reliably good food. It isn't the best food in the world, but El Chalten isn't known for it's fine dining cuisine. We ordered several different pizzas - all good; beef - decent; pasta -... More

Returning hungry and tired from the trek, we discovered this place and was definitely an excellent choice. The service is great and the food is very delicious and feels so homemade. We were here for some quick snacks so ordered a pineapple and ham pizza, which turned out be fabulous. My husband had a coffee (equally good) while I binged... More

As part of my attempt to eat the most universal global meal, I had the pizza at Patagonicua. It was with cured ham (Jamon), I took a 'half' and was really pleasantly surprised by its tastiness.
