Visited the Wafleria after a couple of long walks. Great place for a well-earned rest, especially the waffles, cakes, coffee and hot chocolate. Very friendly staff who have made a few games (e.g. pack of cards) available for those who want to dawdle when it's raining.

We hiked Laguna de los Tres and were motivated all day by hot waffles waiting for us at the base. Truly. 10 hours of hiking and we kept thinking about these waffles... We practically ran the last 3 miles and went straight to La Wafleria. It was worth it! Get the chococrema, a Supuy rubia beer, the caprese waffle, all... More

This was a fun way to end our time in El Chalten. We had breakfast here before taking the bus back to the airport in El Calafate. It would also be a great place to replenish some calories after a long trek. The waffles were delicious and were served with a "shot" of warm chocolate. We used it to "toast"... More

Delicious waffles con dulce de leche!! And very good hot chocolate too. There are many more options for snacks. The place has long tables with benches, the staff is friendly and smiling, and the bathrooms are clean. The place is pretty noisy. I paid AR$83 for a "combo" of dulce de leche waffle with a glass of orange juice. Something like... More

We met the 2 most friendly people who were running the place. They were so welcoming and friendly. Waffles were amazing, the spinach soup was good too. Loved the place.

Both in El Chalten and El Calafate there aren't a lot of good lunch options. I guess because most people are out on excursions during the day. We lunched here twice and it's a good option. First time shared the smoked trout and pork waffles with the calafate berry one for dessert. All were good. Dessert waffle was great. Second... More

Sweet, savory, and tart. This places serves waffles in so many different variations. I like mine sweet. But you can have them with sauteed chicken and grilled beef. Great to stop by for a drink and snack after a long hike up to Mount Fitz Roy.

La waflería is the best!! Diego and Edgar are the friendliest guys in El Chalten. We came here everyday to eat, drink maté and play cards. The food is always always good and the onda... THE BEST. Good music too. I'd recommend ordering the waffle with chicken and leek sauce for something savory and the fiesta del Calafate for something... More
