The food was very good at this small restaurant in El Chalten. My friend an I split the filet of beef and it was tender and perfectly cooked medium rate. In general, the portions of food in Argentina are huge, so sharing is a good thing! The restaurant had vegetarian options as well as a wide array of meat.

The food was excellent. Good service. The portions are rather large even though they say they are individual. At the end there is much food left. But it is worth.

This was the last of four restaurants we visited for dinner during our stay, and overall the best in terms of quality, range and friendly staff. Very wide range of food and wine to choose from. Would recommend the langustino starter, the lasagna and the cordero estepa. Nice touches such as bread, cheap cocktails, etc. Highly recommended.

Our expectations must have been too high after reading all the wonderful reviews. Ours was a very ordinary meal................steak was just so, so and salads were very disappointing having seen the beautiful herb gardens out the front of the restaurant. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot without ventilation and the music was so loud it was not a pleasant experience. We... More

The food here was excellent! Service was friendly and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend. Patagonian lamb chops were the best.

Yes, we were made fun of for coming here earlier in the evening (6pm or so), but this was recommended and we were looking for a good last meal in town. Estepa delivered. I had the spinach crepes and bruschetta and of course, a lovely malbec. The staff didn't speak much english, but this was not a hurdle - the... More

Started with Pisco Sours and a Caipirinha, both well made. This menu was the only when that seemed more upscale with more continental type options. I had a pan-seared trout that was so fresh and flavorful. My green salad was picked from their garden that day. Everything we ate was very fresh and delicious. We had a yummy panna cotta.... More

My wife and I went here on our last night in Patagonia. The food was exceptional for the region, doing a lot of interesting things with the same traditional dishes. The wine selection was excellent as well.
