Excellent food !!!

The restaurant is very good and you can eat the typical Argentina Food. The price is good and pay attention it’s better to reserve in advance because in high season it’s always full.

and cosy without sitting on top of the next table. Tables are a suitable distance apart, dinner music is nice, lovely food and reasonably priced. We had a few dinners here during our 6 days in El Chalten and we were never disappointed. Everything was freshly cooked and the soups and salads were superb. This was without a doubt our... More

I would absolutely recommend this place... makes a great change from all the pizzerias in town! We both had local stews... mine was a great locro served with a spicy sauce that flavours it up a notch if you like more strongly favoured foods... my husband had another stew but with chicken, sweet potatoes and maybe something odd like peaches... I went traditional with lomo. My husband went non traditional with chicken risotto. Can't remember what my son got but all these of us were happy with our choices. Portions are big. Good selection of local hearty dishes.

We had the Chicken stew and the Falafal sandwich for a late lunch. Both were very tasty and nicely prepared. The restaurant also has free WiFi. One of the better places in El Chalten.

You may find the biggest challenge is finding those few restaurants in town that actually accept tarjetas. (And/or perhaps dealing with the one ATM in town being broken...) Fortunately, this establishment does take credit cards - and also has amazingly tasty food. Enjoyed a late November dinner with a couple of trek mates and we all left quite pleased. My... More

We had visited the restaurant at a lunchtime and enjoyed the empanados as a snack and found the service friendly and good. We booked for an evening meal which proved necessary as it turned out to be busy and ordered the Argentinian Stew (locro) which had been recommended.Basically corn and beans which was also a little bland and although an... We ended up eating here twice because it was our favorite of three restaurants. We should have tried more dishes but we liked the ones we got the first visit that we got them again the second time. We got locro, which is a hearty stew. It comes with a spicy sauce that I heaped into the stew that gave... More

our original plan was to walk up San Martin to a particular place, but shortly after leaving our hostel we smelled this kitchen. we were hooked. we briefly thought about the beef we'd smelled from outside, but it is 450g plus salad or potatoes--far too much for us! it's probably a meal that two people could split along with an... the restaurant was nicely done up and had very good food (traditional and international food). The staff was very friendly and spoke English as well. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, but remember to bring a jacket.
