While strolling through the streets of El Chalten, I came across this little jem of a restaurant towards the end of the tourist strip. There was a promo on the board outside the restaurant stating empanadas, Patagonian lamb and sides for $150 pesos. We ordered the promo and got the most tender lamb I've ever eaten, a large portion of... More

Big place - acoustics of a municipal swimming pool. Geared up for quick turnaround. Ideal for carnivores in a hurry. Service efficient but non-personal.

Just wow, we had a perfectly huge plate of Lamb smothered in Mushroom right off the grill. The service was a bit slow, but they were packed and seemed to not have enough staff to handle the crowds. Worth the wait though, more then enough to eat and delicious.

The restaurant was recommended. We expected more in every way. The food wasn’t bad but….. The service ……mmmm…. The place: poorly decorated. The prices: to high……

This is a 'fine dining' barbecue experience in El Chalten, but I did not find the food all that great, and the service was just average. I've been to other BBQ's in Patagonia, and this one was too fatty, too salty and too expensive. Everything was drowned in fat - even the trout. Nice food, but there is better in... More

Awesome lamb parilla, soft and tasty meat unequaled by any european meat. Patagonian trout also top notch. Friendly and good service, talented asador!

Ask for a parrila, a sort of barbecues very good. If you like taste a red wine. The staff is very busy.

Some of the best lamb and beef we had in our three weeks in Argentina and Chile. Terrific salad too. More comfortable dining than some other highly rated restaurants in El Chalten -- well ventilated, no flies. We went three times during our visit in Jan 2012. First rate!

Nice restaurant, although there is nothing very special about the interior and it is definitely lacking in atmosphere. However the food was very good. We had the vegetable soup and empanadas to start and both had the lamb as main. The lamb is very tender and very well cooked. Make sure you ask for the chimichurri to go with the... More

The service was friendly but it was very slow! I also ordered a salad that had tomato and basil but they didn't tell me they didn't have any basil and they simply replaced it with black olives cut up all over it.. It wasn't a good replacement and I sent it back to the kitchen and cancelled it which was... More
